Pretty sure Leona will be on within the next 15 minutes or so. If the show started at 7:15 it could only be two and half hours long tops say with a half an hour interlude. That would mean the show ends between 9:30 and 10, and if Leona is 4th to last on, she should be perfoming any minute!

We should ignore the negative tweets ...just how many Christmas cover albums are out this year?..

Don't let them get to you. The tweets say more about their prejudice than about Leona. The responses are so predictable. And they haven't even heard her version yet. There'll be many more to come then.

Regarding the negative comments on Twitter: Just let these people talk. There is not much emotion coming across in Johnny's version from my point of view. Leona will put her heart and soul in it.

Well the thing is, it is highly probable that Leona/Syco were given the blessing to cover the track by Nine Inch Nails themselves, similar to Run/SCYHO.

A lot of people are quite happy to listen to covers if they like the singer. And a lot of the general public liked Leona singing covers on the X Factor because they loved her voice. After all, it was her cover of TFTEISYF that got the standing ovation on tour. And the Roberta Flack version is very highly regarded.

Leona introduced so many old songs (which people didn't know anymore) to a new audience. It's incredible.
Kelly Clarcson said that she liked Leona's version of Amlt better than hers.

I understand how you feel, but just stay positive Haters = Success. Just because some people think it's a bad idea to cover the song doesn't mean she'll do bad! And if some people don't like it when she actually sings it, that's normal. Go to any music video by any artist and you'll see haters Leona will always be great!

She sang Hurt. It would be good though if she still sang Iris on X Factor, as then two songs from the EP would have been performed which might boost sales of the EP.
