Yeah yeah, If you think I would mistake you pair for Barbie dolls you're obviously madder than I realised.

’d affernoon. Scarborough was nice – so was Whitby, Bridlington, North Landing and Rivieux.

The weather was dry but very cold. Shame because we would have done more if we hadn’t been frozen.

One thing that baffled me, when I was little I always wanted to go to North Landing, saw it again yesterday and I cannot work out why. It’s pretty but there’s nothing there and I wasn’t into photography when I was eight.

I took the kids to Rievaulx Abbey when small, still have the pics somewhere, it was lovely!

Afternoon Gemo & wee thready, pleased you both had a good time. Was thready good?
Suppose it would have been worse if it had been raining.

We visited the terrace above the Abbey rather than the abbey itself for the views. The light wasn’t good and we thought we would go back. It was in a part of the country we didn’t know well and there seemed to be lots to explore. The bargain break seemed to have been a good choice and we’ll look out for similar deals. The cost for dinner, bed and breakfast for two nights was about the same as you would pay for a posh meal (with wines) for two. If we get picture sales from it…

No pictures if it had been raining, so it would have been a waste of time.

Thready was good but he couldn’t understand what a lot of the people were saying. He was very disappointed that all the fairgrounds were closed.

That would have been a nightmare!
They have quite strong accents down that way!

That's a shame thready, it's still too early in the season for the fairgrounds to be open. Never mind, you'll have much more fun when you go to America, you'll need to buy a cowboy hat.
