In the past the finalists have actually worked for him for a few months, given their age and that there isn't a job as such this probably won't be the case here - though I suspect some more though checking of the business plan may go on.”

It must be hard, if they do that to show genuine joy/relief or whatever emotion knowing that it may not be the outcome!

If I were Lord Sugar, I would fail cocky James after his arrogant slouch on the Breakfast show. Glad that Sean & Bill pulled him up on it!

I recall in series 2 that Michelle & Ruth couldn't keep a straight face during the final bit of the boardroom. Though the worst imho was Tom running out of the building and punching the air by the taxi last time - he may be a good inventor, but he aint no actor

I dont understand. Surely they would have filmed the bit where LS says "You're Hired" as we'll see that bit tonight

How does that work??”

And with that, BirthdayGirl, you are now initiated into a very special DS cult: Those That Know The Secrets Of The Boardroom. You may look down on those other mere lay people who think that the walks to the cab are filmed after people are fired, who think that the design companies turn around their protoypes in an evening, who think that the rewards are filmed the day after the boardroom, who think Suggs has an office in Canary Wharf, and who think that the 'You're Hired' footage shown is the only one recorded
