I think what you mean to say is that she's well-spoken, articulate, and self-confident: believe it or not, these are not bad things to be, and you're telling us more about yourself than you are about Zara by using all those pejorative expressions in describing a child who's clearly going to do very well, win or lose next week, and good luck to her.

I wonder if people who have a poor opinion of Zara would have a differing viewpoint if they ignored her boardroom performances. During task she seems to be a team player who gets on well with everyone. She has a boardroom strategy which at least one of her rivals picked up on. Her tendency to tell Alan what she thinks he wants to hear (from listening to his comments) is the only major criticism I'd level at her... and its not as if she's the only one who has been guilty of that. Personally I've been very impressed with her although I think Harry H and Lizzie would have been the most deserving finalists.

Absolutely agree - she is just so annoyingly good, almost too good. And some people struggle to accept that.

Zara will walk all over James next week!! I can picture her walking over everyone to move up the promotion ladder in her future work life!!!

I hope wee Mohammed comes back next week!!! ”

Not sure what makes people get the impression of Zara being this ruthless monster. She has been nothing but assertive, but factual and fair at all times.

Do you really think LS is that stupid? The BEST person should win, and if that's an ethnic minority (or not) 10 times in a row!! What a load of...

Right, so that's why customers consistently placed higher orders following her pitches.....*reality check please*

I don't have a problem with Zara, other than the fact that she's got a superiority complex and she mistakenly thinks that to get to the top you have to tread on others to get there. But hopefully as she matures she'll learn that this isn't the only way.

Can you tell me ONE situation where she treaded on others?

I just don't think people can handle how epic Zara is. Cold, calculating and cool. Perfect business woman

Haya isn't black. She's Arabic, as she has pointed out herself more than once.

I think her pitches, what I have seen of them are as good as anyones I have seen at my workplace.

Okay Zara is a bit smug but that's because she knows she's been good at this. She is probably the best at pitches I've seen in The Apprentice, junior or otherwise. She also admits when she makes mistakes. Would have liked to see her up against Harry (non blonde) in final as I think it would have been a fitting final two.

When she was in the boardroom and denied that the others in there were her colleagues. It was clear from her demeanour and what she was saying that she would have climbed all over them to get to where she wanted to be.

As I say though, she may well mellow as she matures. She's got so much going for her, I just hope she tempers her ambition with teamwork.

I like Zara and think she deserves to be in the final. She's been my favourite from this series by a long shot.

........ .”

That's true of ANYBODY in the boardroom be it adult or junior Apprentice! Its been exactly the same in all the series we have seen

If you are in the final 3 - you are fighting to stay in the process - and yes, its a case of dog eat dog - you aren't playing as a team in that case - its everyone for themselves. All of them want to stay, so they all big themselves up at the expense of the other two! In most cases, what happens in the boardroom stays in the boardroom, and they are back in team mode by the time they get back to the house.

That said - there is a fine line between standing up for and selling yourself and doing the others down in a nasty way - as Paloma found out the hard way in the last but one adult series. She tried to shoot down Alex (?) in the boardroom and got herself fired instead!

Arjun wasn't black though... Haya isn't either...

I think she was simply being honest. The Apprentice boardroom is not like a real business situation. It's clear that in the boardroom you are up against each other and are not a team. I respect her for being candid enough to say it. She was always a team player on the task. Hayley tried to imply she had a split personality because of this, but that was naive; Zara was simply adjusting her behaviour to meet the situation she was in.

I agree with the poster who said that many of the traits she's criticised for are ones that might be regarded more positively if she were male. Zoe in the previous series was also criticised for being domineering, and it's not a criticism I've heard aimed at any male contestant, though several had been. Harry M, for a start, was far more domineering than Zara.
