I'm Not In Love - 10cc

Or

I'll Be Your Lover Too - Van Morrison (avid movie goers may recognise it from the final scene in Proof of Life)

Ah, more ''real music''.

Anyway, I'm going to go with Frozen by Madonna.

Not many will know this one (unless you own the Emotions album) but mine is:

I have to go with Johnny Cash's version of Hurt. It was soooooooooooo much better than the NIN original and was beautifully haunting.

Ooh, this is so true. Even Reznor said it's pretty much Cash's song now.

Absolutely gorgeous song. I remember the first time I heard it I was listening to my MP3 player on shuffle and it came up. I must have re-listened to it about a dozen times in a row. One of the first 'old' M tracks I fell in love with.

Don't know if it's a ballad, but 'All By Myself' would get my vote.

i remember that song and it is beautiful. i loved that album and i always will. i the walter afanasieff ballad were stunning and the clivillés and cole collaboration was magic. then of course when cole died, it inspired her to write `one sweet day`.

mariah`s ballads are timeless and probably some of my favourites of all time.

I always thought Christina Aguilera's The Voice Within is criminally underrated. I suppose it is perhaps overshadowed by Beautiful and Hurt.

My favourite ballad is " Hey there lonely girl " by Eddie Holman an R+B singer who has the highest falsetto ( think that's the term used ) voice I have ever heard it is totally unique and can almost reduce me to tears - in a good way

To be honest I think she yells too much.
