I think the convo I posted was earlier in the day though, possible afternoon sometime. As far as I remember, I don't think they made out after this until before the evictions were about to be announced that night.

It's all a bit of a mish mash TBH.

I mentioned them making out as there is a clip I saw during the winners show of Aaron pinning Faye to the floor just outside the diary room door. They appeared to be wearing the same clothing although of course this could have been another time entirely.Thinking about it, it probably was, as the next interaction we see after this clip was from the next morning I believe. When Faye wanted to cuddle Aaron and did so again outside the Diary Room door? This came across as an awkwardish moment which it wouldn't have been of they had been making out.


It would indeed but there's much more to her than her looks.

So it seems a lot of the petty arguments like burpgate, were his way of stepping back and protecting himself.Maybe he thought she was playing with him.She thought the same at times.He was insecure and it is a game show.
That scene on the youtube above shows a lot of honesty, guts and emotional vulnerability.If only more men would be that open.Wow.

How on earth anyone thought after watching that, he was using Faye is beyond me.

I remember the muscles thing and he was very defensive about it.I remember him saying in the Dr after kissgate, that girls do not generally fancy him.Confidence in the game of love and life is everything.

Just read that and So glad our fav two are away from all that, together and so obviously happy.

I think I have made sense of the days events, Aaron spoke to Faye about him not being good enough for her prior to the burp, This took place after the eviction with drink yet again involved, they were then temporarily back on course we then have C5s post below, which blew it off course again.

Day 35:Aaron & Faye - is it over?

Earlier this evening, Aaron got upset that Faye burped in front of him. Upset by her rather unladylike joking around, he went to have some time out on his own underneath the stairs. Faye came over and tried to discuss it with Aaron. Faye tried to reason with him that he was overreacting but he was having none of it and compared his annoyance to fingers nails on a blackboard. They couldn’t resolve the issue so they left it at that.

An hour past and both were still sidestepping around each other. Faye came over to talk to him, and lets just say the conversation got rather heated. Aaron sheepishly said, “We are very different people” to which Faye replied, “So the last 3 weeks have been lies, then?” Explaining that Aaron’s quite moods can’t continue she said, “You’re going to lose relationships with friends. There is only a certain point I can go if it’s not reciprocated, I’m going to stop.” She then went on to say, “There’s funny Aaron and moody Aaron.” Aaron quipped back, “You go off on all these strops. We are different people” and complained that earlier she was in fact in a mood herself.

The conversation ended with Aaron stating he had to ‘go to the bathroom’ and Faye sternly said “I can’t be bothered to talk to you then.” After his departure Faye sat outside the diary room then goes into the garden for some time out on her own.

As the housemates were going to bed, Faye asked him for a ‘bed cuddle’ but he seemed reluctant. Could this be the end? Have these to past their best before date? Or is it just another lover’s tiff? Stay tuned to find out.

It really is as simple as two insecure people who had both been used in their lives having a struggle believing the other was sincere.

Under normal circumstances, I think when you fall in love with someone it's only natural to protect yourself until you know the other person feels the same way. So for two already damaged people, the environment they were in only compounded their insecurities further. Ups & downs were inevitable but I bet now they are out and together then their will be far fewer downs if any at all.

They were wearing those outifits in the snogging montage! That was the under the stairwell snog!

I did not realise all this happened the one day.The not good enough convo and burpgate.
In burpgate if I am correct Faye had been sitting with Jay. She did not burp in front of Aaron, she went and burped in his face.I do realise she was a bit drunk, was messing about and meant no harm.But this could be misconstrued as disrespectful.
But maybe he thought she was making a laugh of him, in front of Jay and co, who were laughing.I don't think she was, but he might have thought so in his insecure state of mind.
I could be recollecting this wrongly, so correct me if I am wrong.

I think part of it MAY have had to do with the fact that snog is all they could do..

If we put it into context, they both spoke from the heart under the stairs his fears about being used were allayed, Faye then burps in his face not realising how he felt about such unladylike behaviour, I think its reasonable to assume his earlier fears resurfaced and thats why he made such a fuss about the burp.

Combine this with the fact that, the next day, Faye told Jem, that Aaron had since told her, that he was actually jealous of the fact that Faye was wearing Jay's jacket. This was also the night of Burpgate, after the two were saved, but before the actual burp. It shows just how insecure he was feeling that day/night. He really was quite a mess!

Oh yeah i know they fell out again (supposedly)Faye had different outfits on at different times that night, the editing was horrendous so who knows what actually happened.

The original commet someone made was that they were sure they snogged after that and that a clip was floating about somehwhere I was just pointing out that that clip is in the snogging montage so it does exist but not in the timeline of that day! xx

I made the comment but wasn't sure when it occurred? Just surmised that it must have happened in the immediate aftermath of "The not good enough conversation" as it seemed to fit the situation. Of course it may have been an entirely different time or day?

If I remember correctly there was a FB news item talking about how Aaron was getting increasingly frustrated by the crude behaviour of everyone. I think Faye's burp was just the last straw as he was already upset with the situation.

I haven't watched the clip back yet but I remember he seemed almost smiley when Faye confronted him under the stairs like he wasn't really that upset with Faye about the burp and was just winding her up as usual. However, when she told him she just wanted to be friends (something she'd been planning to tell him all day, IIRC, as Jem had recommended it) I think that's what upset him more than anything and caused him to lose it and start with the silent treatment.

I'm not convinced the burp was the root of the problem at all.

Jem recommending Faye to cool it with Aaron was day 43 and was not the cause of his issues, this days problems were initally caused by his paranoia that Faye was too good for him, the burp I believe was conformation that she was taking the pee out of him, Faye saying lets just be friends was never really her intention, she was however taken aback by his glibness and the "you can not replace Mark" comment..

You know the more I watch the youtube clips the more confused I get with timelines?

First time I've seen this clip in full. Aaron it seems told Faye the night before that he was falling for her. I can't work out when this was in relation to the frosted flakes fight?

That's because he wasn't really taking it seriously. He looked like he was smiling, almost looking like he was going to laugh at one point, through most of the argument. I really don't think he had any serious problems with Faye at all over the burp. He was annoyed at the housemates' crudeness in general but he really only got genuinely upset with Faye when she started to get really upset with him. Which was almost certainly down to too much alcohol again
