I would guess the most obviously one sided Apprentice final ever

Through the years I have never known one where the winner is nailed on but a lot of the time you get a shock winner in the final, like the year Kate Walsh didnt win.

Zara should win easily but you never know

Yasmina´s win wasn´t a surprise, she had a track record as PM of 3-0 and only appeared once in the final boardroom.

Besides, her and Kate were side by side voting wise on this forum (probably even an edge to Yasmina).

The only shock winner is surely Simon from Series 3.

Actually, I think that James is the better candidate of the two left.

Sadly, by changing the format the winning team could not be chosen by Lord Sugar himself (both Series 4 of the regular one and Series 1 of this one had an event task prior to the final, giving Lord Sugar the chance to pick his finalists).

Totally agree. If anything, I think it was obvious that Yasmina was going to win. Kate clearly wasn't the type of candidate that actually wins. She just isn't his type.

Simon is the only genuine shock winner. And Stella to an extent, just because historically, she would have lost to Chris in spite of her obvious superiority.

And OMG that was a shock and a mistake, I saw him at a party where I work and he was so full of himself , and his friends and family were rude and disrespectful to everyone! He was a joke!

I really think Sralan shot himself in the foot with this one. Harry H should definitely have been in the final. At least it would have been a more evenly matched fight between Harry H and Zara.

What a big mistake they made changing the format at the end - the obviously better team got sidelined. You could almost feel the disappointment in LS`s response - he didn`t know what to do or say. Get the feeling he`s not happy about either of the finalists.

Except for that fact that, knowing the format, he could and should have put "likely 1st pick" on Team A and "second pick" on Team B etc. to minimise this risk. He did fully select the team members this time!

I don't think this is one-sided at all. Both Zara and James have shown significant weaknesses as well as strengths during the series. In fact, I'd say James is probably the more likely winner, though I wouldn't write Zara off at all.

i think James is a stronger candidate than Zara, he seems much more level headed, and seems to take in more details and know what it is Sugar wants them to do.

He is very perceptive and calculated, however bordering on negative/cynical at times.
Still think Zara is a much better package (and nicer to look at on a Monday morning in the office

I would argue the most one-sided final was Simon-Kristina in Series 3, with Kristina being miles ahead of Simon. And we all know how that turned out...

Series 5 wasn't a shock, Yasmina was the most consistent candidate across the whole series.
Series 6 and went to what you'd expect as well.

But, whilst not shocks, I'd say hiring Ruth ahead of Michelle, Lee ahead of Claire and Tom ahead of Helen were surprises if nothing else.

I felt from early on that Yasmina was the one, even before she had her series of project manager wins. She had the type of commercial instinct and edge that made her Sugar's kindred spirit.

Not really, as Michelle had the whole package (Ruth was mainly known for her sales skills and her nickname), in series 4 nobody was bothered anymore who would win out of those options left and Tom was an inventor (the new format).
