As has been mentioned many times already in this thread, it was nothing to do with Moyles as he wasn't at work yesterday. He was simply reporting the feedback the others had given him about the interview. He wasn't being sarcastic. I didn't hear what Mills said about it.




Ironically, Chris is big mates with Barlow. That's part of the reason why I tend to believe that the off air team members were properly hacked off with Marcus' behaviour, as in general as a show they tend to be very (far too much so for my liking) Barlow friendly.

Marcus is one of the nicest and best well-mannered contestants ever on the X Factor and I would'nt believe a word that came out of Moyles' mouth.

It wasn't Moyles..He was off that day...He was just talking about what happened....Vernon Kaye was talking to the contestants but he wasn't being very nice to them, and Marcus is ill and was on voice rest that day with the lil badge...People are blowing this way out of proportion, and it's not fair on Marcus...You don't even know him

i heard it this morning, tbh i don't think it was that bad, they went on about how they didn't like him wearing the badge; which in fairness i don't think is fully marcus' fault as i'm certain other contestants wear them when they're on voice rest as well (i'm sure i've seen footage on xtra factor at some point) so perhaps that's something the vocal coach or someone asked the contestants to do? a couple of them also said he didn't talk to them and blanked them, which i can understand why people would perceive as rude, but i guess i'll give him the benefit of the doubt as he was ill and on top of that was probably exhausted so perhaps he just wasn't fully awake and didn't feel like speaking to people (they did acknowledge that he was probs exhausted and that he probably was a nice guy) ... i know i've had my days where i don't feel my best and just don't feel like talking to anyone.

also just to add in defense of chris, it wasn't him 'blasting' him, he was just being told what had happened, he actually said he had met marcus previously and thought he was fine.

My niece was at the live shows recently, (the one rhianna was on) she's only 13 and couldnt wait to see marcus backstage and when she asked for a photo he refused. She was gutted as even though she's supporting another act she really liked marcus as well. She doesnt now.

I seriously doubt any contestant would deliberately ignore and be harsh to a 13 year old girl. If this is true the most likely scenario was that he was extremely busy and had to be somewhere and politely said he couldn't. I doubt anyone (good or bad) would just bluntly say "no"

Nope your wrong. Remember your just assuming because you weren't there and I dont mean that nastily but it shows how he can fool people into believing he's this wonderful guy. He had me fooled. The thing is when you act like someone your not, it always comes to light eventually. You will slip up and thats what marcus done. Like Sunday after the results he was backstage, there were 2 relatively young girls asking to have a photo taken, when they asked the first time he said he would in a while, when he came back they asked again and he ignored them but made this comment to his boyfriend, and I quote 'they've had that fkn camera stuck in my face all night' and thought no-one had heard him. Unfortunately they did.

I don't think Scott Mills is a Marcus fan, when he was on xtra factor he called Marcus a "Bruno Mars tribute act"

Yup, someone's not coming over well in this saga.

Yeah, I heard it like that too, my OH said he thought Vernon sounded like a Kn*b, and he didnt like the way he spoke to them. He was really off with them all, and kept going on at Marcus about what was the point in coming if youre just going to sit there, and kept asking him questions, and cause Marcus was trying to not speak loudly saying, speak into the microphone!!! I felt bad for Amelia too, she looked really uncomfortable bless her. Ive heard them all doing other radio interviews and its totally different.

1. Every report from backstage suggests Marcus has been the least divaish of the lot.
2. The people who will vote and decide the result tend not to listen ti Radio 1.
3. There is as much shit flying about about the others.
4. Aaron won Big Brother despite all comentators saying he was the spawn of Satan.

So realitybites1 first you say Marcus refused a photo then you say he said he would do one later and then you said he gnored them. First you say he was rude to the girls then you say they overheard his having a private moan to his boyfriend which they were not meant to hear. So they WERE being invasive then.

I will tell you tht people are allowed to speak in private to their partners about things getting them down, especially when under stress and unwell. And if you are nosy enough to eavesdrop such conversations then you have no right to complain about what you hear.

The fact that that poster seems to be trailing Marcus everywhere he goes has me very suspicious of his motives as if he/she is looking fior something to discredit Marcus.

I don't listen to that radio show but wouldn't believe what you read in the press nor hear on the media. I'm sure Marcus is quite a nice chap and he certainly has talent. The X-factor, however, has proved more than ever this year that it is crap. I wonder why we bother with it?

Why pick on a contestant when they have a bad throat?
Compare Marcus to LM and Amelia, there's no contest, he is streets ahead. However Misha and Janet were both miles ahead and look what happened to them - at least Janet wasn't prepared to compromise (except the hair and, hopefully, that will soon be back to normal), but what was done to Misha by rumour and media was appalling.

Marcus is a good, hard working singer and quite well known in Liverpool. If he is a bit diva-ish at times, so what? Doesn't stop him being best of what is left.

First of all Get off ya high horse and read the posts properly. It was 2 separate occasions and it wasn't the young girls being invasive. It wasn't even them who heard him say it. It wasn't a private conversation he was having with his boyfriend it was a loud enough remark he had made when walking past some people that they overheard it. Totally different.
