Washing
Right, so I'm at uni! I have quite a few things that either can't go in the dryer, or are handwash only - my mum told me I'd be fine handwashing stuff.
Only thing is, it's taking bloody AGES to dry! I've got a wooly jumper on the radiator at the moment, hanging it over the banister stretches it, but it's still taking a stupid amount of time! Any advice? Obviously when I go home there's going to be a lot I can't bring back to uni in the new year, because it's simply unwashable here! |

A good way to dry out jumpers after you've squeezed them out is to lay them out on a towel, then roll the towel up completely (like a swiss roll of towel and jumper) and then twist the towel and squeeze it, and sit on it if necessary. That'll take out a lot more water than just squeezing a wet jumper, and if you put that on the radiator it should dry quicker.

I hadn't thought about squeezing it with a towel round it, although I have of course been squeezing water out of it, I haven't just taken it out of the sink and put it straight on the radiator!
