Kim tells Denise she wants to forgot recent the recent revealation that Patrick is her Father but Denise tells her it may not be that easy. Cora and Rainie hope for some Mother-Daughter time. Jean admits to Rainie she is hoping that Kat will return to Walford with them. Back on the Square Janine and Michael return home but nobody welcomes them home. Shabnam bumps into Christian on the Square and asks how he is and Christian tells her that Syed has gone away to a conference and that he is missing him. Shabnam tells Rupert that Syed is having an affair with Richard and that Christian is obvilious. Kat is relieved that Lomax is dead and she decides to use her divorce settlement to buy Number 23 off Mo. Jane and Lucy struggle for power at the Beale household.

Jay feels nervous facing Steve in court once again and Steve's lawyer makes things difficult for Jay when he is cross examined by her. Ritchie tells the court that Steve raped Jay and that the maximum sentence should be handed down on him. Shirley tries to reconnect with Deano and Tel plays Cora and Babs off against each other.

Shirley decides to go and see Ritchie and find out more about Phil's upcoming murder trial. Tel leaves Walford when he doubles crosses Babs.

It is the day of Patrick and Ada's wedding and the Vic is thrown open for a celebration to remember. Deano tells Shirley a few home truths when she tells him that Jay has refused her olive branch. Denise and Kim tell their Mum how glad they are that she is marrying Patrick and decide to leave the Square with them for Trinadad. Syed tells Shabnam that Richard is putting pressure on him to leave Christian. Ada and Patrick marry but at the reception Rose gets drunk and ends up having a heated argument with Dot. Rose steals Dot's car keys and tells her she is leaving, Patrick and Ada go after Rose but Rose ends up getting into Dot's car and drunkingly drives around the Square but does not realise that Ada and Patrick on the Square and in a moment of madness Rose drives into Ada...

Christian argues with Syed about the amount of little time they spend together and with Yasmin. Sam notices that Jude is rather quiet and withdrawn when he hears she was not at work. Jude tells Sam that she has breast cancer and tells him not to tell Rupert and Stevie. Daphne Fox arrives in the Square demanding to see Rose.

LINDA HENRY QUITS EASTENDERS...

Actress Linda Henry is to leave EastEnders, the 49 year old has played Shirley Carter since December 2006 will leave in an explosive Christmas Day storyline. Henry says that she has had six great years in EE but now it is time to move on. Shirley's on screen partner Phil Mitchell played by Steve McFadden is currently in prison awaiting two murder trials. .It is not known whether Shirley's exit ties in with her on screen son Deano's second departure from the show...

It is thought that Gabrielle Glastier who joined the show temporarily in the summer and returned as a regular last month will remain on the show as Tina Carter, Shirley's sister.

JAMES SUTTON TO JOIN EASTENDERS...

Former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale actor James Sutton is joining the EE cast as Chris Hanley, the younger half brother of Sharon Rickman. The 29 year old actor will appear on screens at the beginning of December when he tracks his sister down to Walford.

Richard is still pressuring Syed to leave Christian and Syed is forced to tell Shabnam that he needs to make a choice before Richard gets to Christian first. Jude insists on going to work but Deborah notices how low Jude looks. Deborah confides in Tanya that the Medical centre is falling apart as Denise is not at work and Richard and Syed are both acting strangely with each other. Sam is finding it difficult to keep Jude's cancer secret and in cafe breaks down in tears and Carol notices that Sam has been crying- Sam tells Carol that Jude has cancer and that he cant keep it a secret anymore. Sam tells Jude he cant keep her cancer a secret anymore but Jude tells Sam that Deborah knows and that she has been advised to stay off work prompting the decision for her and Sam to tell Rupert and Stevie about her cancer. Rupert turns to Shabnam when Jude tells him that she has cancer but Stevie feels lost and runs out of the house in tears. Kenny and Ian return from New Zealand and into a war zone between Lucy and Jane.

It is the day of Ada's funeral and Patrick asks Dot to stay away and Dot feels victimised by Patrick and the Foxes because of this. Denise reassures Dot it is not her fault but it is easier if she was not there. Rose continues to struggle with what she has done. Shabnam is struggling with Syed's secret and Rupert's dependency on her after his Mother's cancer diagnosis. Stevie contacts her Grandmother and tells her that they need her as her Mum is unwell. Carol continues to suppport Sam in his hours of need. Ian tells Jane and Lucy to sort out their differences once and for all and Kenny confides in Cora about the death of Lizzie and Caroline...Ada is cremated and Patrick vows to take her ashes back to Trinadad and Denise resolves to find her real Father...

Scottish Actress Isla Blair is join the cast of EastEnders, the 68 year old actress will play Sarah Malone the mother of Dr Jude Dickinson. Sarah arrives in Walford when she receives a phone call from grand-daughter Stevie who tells her that her Mum is not well and that they need her...Isla will be on screen in Mid December...

Richard calls Massods bluff when he tells him he is going to tell Christian about himself and Syed. Christian asks Syed if he is happy with him and Syed says yes but Christian does not believe him and asks him if he is having an affair. Syed is forced to admit the truth to Christian that he has been sleeping with Richard. Christian throws Syed out of the flat and Syed tells Richard that Christian knows about them. Sam and Carol decide to meet again in secret and Deborah agrees to meet Phil in prison as his counsellor.

Ritchie asks Matthew if it would be okay to ask his Mum out on a date. Christian anger turns to violence when he encounters Richard and Syed in the Vic and he hits Richard. Massod and Zainab defend Christian which surprises Christian but Richard tells Syed he is leaving Walford with or without him. Hetti Bywater has quit her role as Lucy Beale after less than a year. Hetti is leaving the show as the new EP John Yorke has failed to find suitable storylines for her, Lucy will have a low key exit in early December.

Syed is forced to turn to Janine when he finds himself and Yasmin homeless but Zainab is angry with Massod for not allowing Syed to move back in, Massod tells Zainab that Syed was wrong to cheat on Christian and that Syed needs to learn what he did was wrong. Kenny tries to build bridges between Ian and Jane and Lucy announces to her Dad that she is leaving for Devon once again.
