No like I said earlier I genuinely think Johns tweet was either a quote from a film or a song, obviously thats not a fact lol thats my take on it which is all we can do. Thats all I think it was, I do think John has deliberately tweeted some cryptic tweets in the past which could be interpreted many ways but I don't think this was one and my point was that there hadn't been anything for quite a while but then Josie mentioned him in her column which riles up the 'muckers' to then tweet her things like 'yeah you're better off without him' so wether there was a hidden meaning behind it or not they have both done it this week

I don't know what John was trying to say with his tweet...i never understood most of his tweets but i do agree, i read Now ....clearly talking about John James.....Josie is entitled to say/feel what she wants...as is John.


John can not be accused of starting things up and not Josie IMO.

I APPRECIATE both John and Josie, doesn't mean I can't see their flaws, they're not robots, they're human beings, human beings are not perfect. It also doesn't mean I have to be hateful, hurtfull, spitefull in my views.

Right Ladies. Here is the next part of 'The Golden Story.
One of the verses you will have seen before as I added and changed a few bits. It's always a work in progress and when I read back I'm never happy so have to twiddle.
This is set just after the talk outside under the doona in the garden on Fire Escape Day.

They moved to the bedroom and John's mind had settled
It seemed he was ready to say
How he wanted to run if she wasn't his friend
And the depth of his feelings that day
He tried to explain how his feelings had grown
How it shook him just how much he cared
He wasn't sure why he was feeling this way
It was very rare he declared

Our Jose she looked stunned as she took it all in
At first she just stared as he spoke
He said how it hurt him if she was upset
And still our Jose thought it a joke
They talked of the rounders when she didn't play
He hadn't picked her in his team
He then said if she were to go from the house
He'd leave straight away---what a dream

They then were disturbed as Andrew appeared
With Jaffa cake offerings in tow
He said he was glad that John hadn’t left
He’d have missed him if he’d had to go
Jose said that she wished Andrew’d come in before
Then he’d be her husband not John
You could almost see John as he gritted his teeth
The jealousy wouldn’t be gone.


I'm really not sure if this settled John's mind
It seemed he decided to say
That there were lots of things that he loved about her
He couldn't explain it but hey
He told her he loved the way that she talked
And even the way that she ate
It really was such a heart warming speech
We listened and thought it was great

He told her when he'd felt the way that he did
About people before that he knew
He'd give his life for them to show how he cared
And with Josie he would do that we knew
She called him a weirdo but in a nice way
As no one cared for her like that
They knew she was strong and could cope with it all
She was totally shocked by his chat.


They moved under the doonas and lights were turned off
As others thought they'd go to sleep
They were getting more close you could tell by the shapes
And the talking was getting real deep
We were told the next day that there was a kiss
And he said that he felt the same way
It was only the things that we'd already guessed
But he wanted it secret that day



I'm still not so sure she believed what he said
And realised he spoke from the heart
But I think that the truth was that in that strange place
He'd been shaken and pulled right apart
He'd fallen for her with incredible force
She'd gotten right under his skin
And he knew if he once let his guard drop right down
An emotional mess he'd be in.

I do enjoy reading everyones interpretations of the tweets, but the only person who really knows what they mean (if anything) is John

agree...both get angry, upset, hurt .....like the majority they are both far from perfect.

I don't understand why people send nasty tweets to either of them or anyone else for that matter... it just seems very odd to me .......that's reason i stay away from it ....other than not having a clue how to use it

I was in no way insulting John at all today. In fact, I get accused of not talking about him. Well I was here to discuss. And I'm giving him far more credit that many others here. John is smart. John doesn't randomly tweet. John does know what he's doing.
