It is bad, isn't it? Schools were closed at lunchtime, but I just kept my daughter off for the whole day. And I've just been to pick up son, who got to finish work training early...we're all safe at home and going nowhere now, thank goodness.
Take care on your journey home. xx
Glad you are all safe Lisa Will just ride it out here till it calms down....around 6pm they say. Don't fancy driving home on my own.

Take care today everyone.

Afternoon everyone

Afternoon.

OMG it's scary up here in Central Scotland. Winds over 100mph. Feel as though our building is shaking.

It's terrible isn't it!! I've came home from work early - didn't want to stay there when it's to be at it's worst!

Hope you're all taking care & are wrapped up well!! x x

Sue we are in one storey industrial units. We're near Motherwell. As it's our own business we have to stay to make sure everything is ok.
if theyre industrial units bet the noise is awful, i would be having a panic attack just being there, good luck put a hard hat on

I have just had a look at the met office website and it looks as though 9.00pm we are going to have the strongest gusts at 58 mph - still a lot less than Scotland are getting but bad enough. Think my tv aerial has moved as freeview keeps breaking up So far Sky is ok

Wouldn't surprise me with all the rain we've had.
Hubby just came back in from Coatbridge. Lorries blown over everywhere, a lot of the roads blocked.

EVENING ONE AND ALL

Hope everyone up North and in Scotland are safe. My son-in-law to be is at St Andrews Golf Course - his flight homeward bound has been cancelled because of high winds so he and his Manager are having to drive 7 hours home. Bad, bad, bad winds
