I am not jealous - but I do wonder if you are Ms Dixon's paid PR consultant or even the "lady" in question. I don't know the woman personally and I wouldn't want to. DS is a forum where we give our opinions and they are just that opinions. If she goes on National TV and swigs from a bottle of wine, makes indiscreet remarks about her colleagues etc. etc. these are not observations - they happened.

No what i am saying is that her earning the most (if true) when she is the least qualified, and would be the least missed if one of the judges were to depart, isn't right imo

Craig or Len should earn higher (even though Len is annoying as hell). I mean 100k? Seriously...

Why so hard on her? I notice every-time A.Dixon's name is brought up, you seem to slag her off.
The Alan Carr show is a late night show (hence the time it is on) and all the so called celebs who appear on it, are offered drink etc...

What did she do to you? Personally i don't really rate her as a judge, but you don't have to slag her off all the time.

There's no "should" about it.
It's just your opinion.

Given the money the BBC waste in other areas, I'm not that bothered that she earns more than the others.

Len and Bruno do DWTS, I think Craig does the Australian version and is choreographing the tour, so I would think if you include all jobs, they'll all be earning substantially more than Alesha.

I don't slag her off all the time - I have been pretty quiet about her this series - until her display the other night. But I take on board what you said and won't slate her again even though she offends my ears.

He did three series of the New Zealand version between 2007 and 2009. I don't think he's done any others.

Thanks hun! Monkseal, you are the official board fount of all knowledge!

But he does bring in other income from choreography and directing doesn't he? Plus he must have earned a fortune to be "persuaded" to dance with the Widdicombe.

No I am not employed or work for Ms Dixon in any (I wish) and i am definately not the lady herself. she doesn't go on to forums. But your posts arn't coming across as opinions they are quite nasty and sometimes slanderous. Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but there are ways of stating your point without being spiteful

Yes, I recall you taking about Alesha's so called 'Gangsta speak' yesterday. Still waiting for you to elaborate on that btw.

I'm assuming you are a personal friend then?.

Every time there are threads, which Miss Dixon might not approve of, there's always posters jumping on here to defend her, they claim to know her and tell us how marvellous she is. I wonder who is pulling their strings?

BTW Nothing written on the forums is slanderous.

Read the topic threads, they are mostly made by people interested in dance. But what I referred to was "Alisha's Admirers," they don't have to be interested in ballroom.”

Err to you too.

The percentages of those who post and who watch the programme wasn't the issue. So where did that come from all from of a sudden?

Where are all these threads? The topic threads are not made by people mostly interested in dance you can see that from the title of the threads and the discussion.

slander is spoken libel is written or typed

and I have to say some posters come very close to libel and would be well to think about this before posting some very inflammatory things that can be very hurtful to someone who has a lot of money

Craig, Bruno & Len are little known outside of the Dance/Show world (or it used to be so), where Alesha is well known to a wider audience via her music career. Hence the higher pay. Simple really and has nothing to do with ability or qualifications, just Alesha has a better Agent.

'Slander is the legal term for defamation of character that is spoken.'

Then a lot of people on DS in general are in danger. This isn't the first time I've seen Alesha discussed on here and libel gets mentioned.

Perhaps you could report posts to the mods and let them deal with things.

Camilla? Just because she visited the show a couple of weeks ago doesn't qualify her to be a judge. And she'd probably want to bring Charles along every week too.

I don't believe that Alesha is paid more than the other judges. The Daily Mail is hardly a respectable source.

If one accepts that the other judges are worth 90k (and I don't but that's another matter) then so is Alesha.

She has come into her own this year and seems to be much more confident and assertive in the role she has been given on the panel. I love the way she puts down old fuddy duddy Len and gives over-the-top marks without batting an eyelid.

Karen Hardy in Len out I say! Leave Alesha where she is and get her on ITT to talk about her fabulous hair. That Diana Ross look she had going recently was fantastic. Highlight of the season!

Has to be Alesha. Who else would use a word like 'lairy'. Translation please. Amazing isn't it that if you criticise someone you are deemed to be jealous. Why?

I don't mind saying it to her face. With her personality she would almost certainly deck me and then I could sue her!

What opinions - a number of varieties of 'you did great babe' apart from the time when something/one annoys her and then she just gets bitchy. She reminds of a child trying to imitate her parents as a judge. I don't loathe her I just think as a judge she's "The Peter Principal" incarnate find something for her to do which she could actually do - get her to replace Tess at least if she mucks it up it would be funny and then she can be all chummy with the contestants and sympathesise with both contestants and judges. Zoe Ball has proved that a former contestant can be utilised in a good way if they're doing a job that they are actually qualified to do.

Sorry to be boring but least there's some interesting comments against the gush with Karen - she can tell why someone/something was great.

Err..

She was a singer in Mis-Teeq, she got paid for it for about six years, that as far as they go in the music industry, makes it a career.

They had three major studio albums and seven consecutive UK top ten singles.

If you really wanted to know rather than just argue for the sake of arguing, you could as I did, look her up on "Wiki."
