The winners single may sell ok but his album will bomb. It will probably be co-written by Gary and shift less than a hundred copies depending on how big his extended family are as nobody else will remember him in a years time.
The only good that will come from him winning will be the hilarious forum drama on DS when his album barely scrapes into the top 1000 chart

Was Matt Cardle's number one for three weeks? I think if Marcus wins, he'll last one week at the top of the charts.

I think people are here bashing Marcus forgetting he may not win, and their act will have to put up with being kicked off the top spot by a much more deserving cause.

If he won he'd be it'd be the 1st XF winner's single I didn't buy.
He might be cheesy and likeable but he has no vocal talent, no versatility and once this season is over everyone will have forgotten him. If it's possible to be a bigger flop than Matt, Joe, Steve and Leon... it's Marcus

How sad to see comments like this, when there are men and women being killed and these wives are doing this for a charity, I cannot see anyone keeping them off the top spot.

I was joking, I thought that much was obvious. It will actually be nice to have something worthwhile at the top of the chart at Christmas.
