It's just pretend. Lighten up, pal.

His problem is that he is not naturally funny and its all forced and looks it ,It was Artems moment and not about James Jordan and he made it about him

That wasn't a pretend sulk. That's what makes it funnier! 

Let's hope he was pretending to be miffed because he was behaving like an idiot. He didn't even applaud Artem when the award was being made to him, but sat with his arms folded - very unsportsmanlike.

Exactly, that's the reason I don't like James, he's JUST NOT FUNNY and tries too hard to be.

exactly - James tries to be funny but he isnt

Its a shame he tried to take over Artems winning moment in true Jordan style

I feel like I am living in a parallel planet tonight regarding James at the ITT with Artem.

Well I thought a clap and a congratulations would be nice but James deflected attention to himself. It wasnt about him just then

James is not miffed because gifted Artem beat him. He is miffed because Brendan beat him.

Did James beat his wife in public at least? He really should stop beating his wife in private as well.

I think it speaks volumes that many people have to ask whether he's joking or not . I am not a huge fan of his (I think "waste of space was my last description of the guy) but I didn't think he was serious. Unfortunately he appears to belong to the Len Goodman school of successful jocularity - i.e. he's a bit rubbish at it. Of course it doesn't help that he's been such a dipstick in the past.

Well I'm in the same parallel planet. I really don't get some of the comments on this thread. Why does a full psychoanalysis have to carried out on everything said and done on ITT - it was just a joke and Artem obviously found it really funny. They seem to be good friends.

Yes indeed, it was a pretend strop, playing to the cameras and living up to his image. All good-natured, and accepted as such by both Artem and Zoe.

I really don't understand all the negativity about James on this forum. His 'strop', as someone put it, was blatantly for comedy, and he and Artem looked to be genuinely 'best of friends'.

Lighten up people - he's not a bad guy at all (and I'm not even slightly biased just because I think Ola is absolutely gorgeous ).

I'm with you Artem & James are good pals. Of course James wanted to win, but I didn't see him being unsportsmanlike or sulky, he was just joking!

I didny psychoanalyise anyone I just have a different opinion to you .
Yes James was joking , he just didnt know when to stop and give Artem two seconds of glory .The girl who awarded it hardly got a word in either ,Sometimes it would be better if James zipped it for a few minutes and allowed Artem except a Guinness world record without James rabbiting on

It's obvious that he was joking and I agree that they're probably friends, but why steal the attention away from Artem?

Agreed. There are times when James can grate a little bit but this was all in the spirit of fun and he and Artem clearly have a great relationship. They came on holding hands for goodness sake!

This bit I did find a tad awkward. Mainly when Zoe sort of just took the award off her and casually passed it over to Artem. I was expecting something slightly more ceremonial with at least the lady standing to present it to Artem with a bit of a handshake!

His hair is funny though.

I do enjoy James. Even the awkwardness entertains me.

To be fair, messing about has seemed to be the mood of the programme this week. I feel like Zoe's been talking over people a lot. I did think 'Shut up' a bit at James tonight - I often think 'Shut up' a bit at James - but I thought it was obvious he was joking and obvious he and Artem were great friends. I think we'd have known from his expression if Artem had been bothered.

I didn't think it was funny at all. Some people can carry off that bigging themselves up (Vincent) and some just come over as big-headed (James).

For heaven's sake people - Artem and James are friends. Don't you josh and have fun with your friends?
As for "taking the limelight" - it's a fun competition. yes it has ended up being a world record, but you can get a world record in picking up cocktail sticks if you wish.

Lighten up the James haters

Which would work if he was even remotely funny, which he isn't.
