As for "taking the limelight" - it's a fun competition. yes it has ended up being a world record, but you can get a world record in picking up cocktail sticks if you wish.

Lighten up the James haters”

Well said. I am no fan of James, but it was all in good fun this evening - and to be honest, I actually warmed to him for a few minutes there!

I thought it was quite clear, that James and Artem, are good friends, and were just joshing around. I really like watching ITT, and think Zoe is doing a fantastic job.

I can remember a time when quite a few people didn't 'get' Vincent at all, but that seems to have gone now. There don't seem to be any complaints about his loverman act these days.

I don't usually mind James and of course it was a joke, and of course they are great friends joshing, but he went on and on and talked over the woman brought in to present it to Artem, which was just rude and a 'joke' too far for me.

I agree that we over-analyse things sometimes on here, but it was really bad manners to that young woman, at any rate. (I expect her Mum and |Dad thought so, anyway, after tuning in specially to watch her )

It did come over badly to our lot at home.

It was pure pantomime - with James playing The Ugly Sister!

Agreed. And I thought Zoe's "Shut it, Jordan" was pitched exactly right. Jovial and joshing in tone - but she meant him to obey.

I worry about some of you FMs.

It was a comedy strop over a silly little competition thought up to waste some air time time on ITT. It wasn't like Artem had won an Oscar.

The worst behaviour is Artem accepting the trophy without even BOTHERING to pay tribute to the fact that the rightful winner of the Guiness World Record wasn't even allowed to compete because of BBC incompetence, and he was winning at least partially, if not entirely by default. But no, Artem just had to SNATCH it, whilst Poor Anton continues to be denied his rightful title as King Of The Bogiefogies.

I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY ARTEM! I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!

Artem also took the stylish award with the hat and shiny shoes for his Bogiefogies. Anton needs to work hard to get the stylish man award now!!!

Yay, Artem won the Bogiefogie Award! Many people have won an Oscar: how many have won the Bogiefogie?

Yes, quite rightly so,and I am happy with your opinion as well.

To the tune of The Locomotion: "Do the Bogiefogie with me - you've gotta cross your feet ye-eh..."

I wish Artem and Jordan would do their rumba again. Great chemistry between them, specially when they entered the studio holding hands!

Why was James wearing trainers? That wasn't very clever!

I did so love that dance. It was as good as any male/female performance of the dance, if not better. I wonder if there'll ever be a gay male celeb dancing with a male pro dancer?

The comedy stuff really doesn't suit James. He ends up looking like a silly school boy. It's a shame, because when he's stops playing up, he's quite likeable and charming.

I admit I did watch part of this with the sound turned off to avoid listening to James but I do think that he is a good teacher and achieves a lot with his partners and they seem to like him.

I agree .... he was obviously joking but he tires too hard to be funny, overdoing it so a lot of the time it doesn't work ... it always seems like he has to make everything about him, even if it is in a jokey way ... it's like the way him and Brendan constantly have to hog the cameras when Tess is interviewing the contestants who have just danced ..... they're always gurning or trying to distract people ... once or twice is funny but it's like with all jokes, they wear thin when they're over done

I warmed to James last year when he was with Pamela but he's back to irritating me again this year

Joking or not, James was very rude by talking over the woman who came in to give the award, such bad manners he has. It seems like he does'nt know when to stop and I don't find him funny at all. He did'nt even congratuale Artem. I don't like a bad loser and that's what he is.

James is a bit like an embarrassing dad - you want to go: OMG, please stop - you're making a fool of yourself. You're NOT funny!

Read this in a teenage sulky voice, and then you'll have my reaction to 'funny' James (and I haven't been a teenager for a longggggg time).
