Video Games - Lana Del Rey. No question. It's probably my favourite song of the last 5 years. And I'm a massive Adele fan so this isn't easy for me to say.

If I have to name just one, then 'Together Forever' by Two Wounded Birds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvBKtWKNWB8
Yeah, I know it's derivative but it's fun, Goddammit! |

Rolling in the deep and Take it all
It's as if Adele stalked me and wrote 2 songs about a particular badish time in my life. It's too close to home. Love it |

Adele - Rolling In The Deep.
All those different layers of musical goodness! Spanning generations and genres. "See how I'll leave with every piece of you. Don't underestimate the things that I will do." Indeed. Music does not get much better than this! Edit: Konebyvax, I like video games much better on audio only. Way too distracting otherwise. And not in a good way.

Beyonce's album as a whole is some of the best music of 2011 IMO
The Weeknd- The Morning/ What I Need/ The Knowing J.Cole- Can't Get Enough/ Lost Ones Drake- Marvins Room/ Lord Knows/ The Motto Nicki Minaj- Superbass JoJo- Disaster Lupe Fiasco's Lasers album Tbh I think this year has been a good year for music.. probably because I havent depended on the charts for music and actually went out and found it instead. |

imho 2011 has been a very poor year for singles, one of the worst ever in fact...
however chase n status 'blind faith' for me stands out as my only quality track. |
