Ladyhawke is back with her second album after her debut in 2008.

I love Ladyhawke and I am so glad she is back in the charts. I really do urge anyone to check her debut out. It was proved to be a suprising album.

Her first album was great, I still listen to it quite a bit. Hope the second one lives up to my expectations...

So excited!

I hope the wait was worth it though, especially just for 11 tracks.

Looking forward to hearing it. I listened to her debut, it was really good. I liked the singles as well (Magic, My Delirium, Paris Is Burning and Dusk Till Dawn were my favourites).

I have her debut album, can't see her doing well with this one though unless she pulls out all the stops for promo.

I don't think it matters as Ladyhawke isn't really a commericial type artist. Plus her main market is her home place of New Zealand so she is likely gonna want more success there, then she will anywhere else.

Exactly, she's already massive in New Zealand, obviously. But she doesn't seem to be that big over here. Probably because we have this fixation with s**t pop music over here!!

i too was a big fan of the first album. On first listen to those tracks I can't hear anything as strong as the best stuff off the first album.

A short album teaser and confirmation that the first single 'Black, White & Blue' will premiere on the 23rd January (next week!) on Zane Lowe's show on Radio 1. Quite excited now. http://www.modularpeople.com/news/wa...ser/13030.html

Here is the single: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8rLNG9Ma8o
The beginning of the chorus almost sounds like it's going to turn into 'Tragedy'... I've only listened to it once so far, but I like it.

I'm not keen, but then again the songs released as first singles are usually my least favourites (Evanescence's What You Want & Santigold's Big Mouth being recent ones)

I'm still looking forward to the album

I like the first single, it's faithful to her debut but definitely feels different.

Love the new single. She's one of those artists I've heard of, but I never heard her whole first album. I'll definitely have to check it out now.
I read that this album will be more guitar heavy influenced by Nirvana, Blur and the PIxies than her first album. I love all those artists so this album sounds like it will be just my kind of thing.
