I just read this in today's sun:

RONAN KEATING was all smiles at his Greatest Hits party in London on Tuesday. The ex-BOYZONE man was given a Guinenss Hit Singles award for his 30 consecutive Top Ten singles, beating ELVIS & MADONNA.

does anyone know if it includes boyzone singles?!

yes it does.

He has had 12 solo singles.

A remarkable feat for Mr Keating - his popularity remains despite a few mediocre singles recently (and I say that as a fan before I get lynched - no pun intended).

Wow, how can someone so bland have done so well?

Blandness appeals to a much wider market. It catches the oldies as well.

Ronan Keating obvioulsy has some very obsessed fans. It seems he can release any old tosh that sounds exacly the same as his last lot of old tosh yet he still gets in the top 10 with it.

It's beyond me.

Ronan has found a formula that works, why change it?

exactly. Although im not overly keen on his music on CD I always without fail go to at least one of his concert dates when he tours as I & my friends end up having a great time.

His CD's are ones I put on in the background... easy listening

His 'formula' is to release cover versions of country songs because he can't write anything decent himself!

If Tomorrow Never Comes,When You Say Nothing At All( where he doesn't even sing the correct words )and I Hope You Dance. I'm sorry,I know the proceeds go to breast cancer research but compared to LeeAnn Womack Ronans' version is crap!

I admit his verson of "I hope you dance" isn't that good but personally, I like his version of the other songs, country music isn't for everyone and if his versions can make it more acceptable to a wide range of people then there is no harm done, is there? besides Whitney Houston did it with "I will always love you" and look at how far it got her.

Have to disagree with you. I am not in the slightest bit a Ronan fan, But i love his version.

When Leanne Womaks version came out my mum bought it and i hated it but i now love the song thanks to Ronans version
