I've started this thread to log any changes to channels that are available using the Non-Freesat mode.

'NO DISCUSSIONS' on this thread, thanks.

If the Moderator's are reading this, could we please have this thread "PINNED"?

Thanks.

UMP currently has an Indian movie in the Indian language! (Which one I don't know)

    Hardly mainstream viewing! :D

Accepted, but someone out there might be interested, I believe it's worth posting the information.

With the Astra N satellite now active new channels are likely to regularly appear.Any information on new uses of transponders is useful. For example does anyone know the frequency of the new Shopping Radio channel? I recently acquired a budget Freesat receiver and was amazed when it worked on connection to a 10 year old satellite dish.I regard retuning non freesat channels as a simplified modern form of Radio hamming! Its not that you necessarily want to watch/hear the program its just that you can receive it.So any posts including the ones above are helpful.

    Thanks for the support. :)

'Shop Radio' is on 11.224 V (if that's what you're referring to).

What about the possibility of new channel launches on transponder capacity that's been recently vacated by services moving to 1N?

I was merely pointing out where the 1N stuff goes and/or is.

That was because some posts were talking about 1N.

But please feel free to carry on the same info over loads of threads and we'll play hunt the info.

We should support the input Digi Man brings here as he is often the first and most accurate poster of changes listed on the Sky and Satellite Weekly News thread over in the Sky section (the only thread I keep a track on in the Sky section of the forum).

Having a 'non-Freesat changelog' is good as it's potentially these FTA channels that might be next to join the platform. I didn't know for example that this new UMP Movies channel, widely discussed in the Weekly News threads of recent weeks, was FTA. We now all know as it's posted on here!

Thank's for the support, Ray, and let me take the opportunity to praise your similar contributions in updating the Freeview Changelog and posting other important information.

No, I'm not connected to digiperson.

    Both SD.

    20735 Video currently 2.04mbs
    20745 Video currently 2.09mbs

But they are only showing colour bars, so nothing too taxing at the moment.
