I have to say she was for me personally my favourite member out of sclub7 and like a pop icon of the 90's! I loved sclub7 as a band and followed her solo career but now you never really hear of anything! I heard she was on Lorainne a few weeks ago but apart from that you never really hear from her!

She was kind of like the Cheryl Cole of the early 00's. She was deemed the most attractive out of the girls and had the most successful solo career out of all 7 and was pretty big but then it kind of went quiet after her second album.

Come back Rachel Stevens, you are my childhood!

Rachel was the best out of the S Club 7 bunch , also her singles were pretty decent , so good still remains my favourite pop song of the 2000's

Rachel Stevens is sooooooooo hot.

And it was cool that she was doing electropop back before EVERYBODY was doing it like now.

Only thing was every song she released being accused of ripping off Goldfrapp.

My favourites songs from her are Some Girls and her version of More More More.

Really? Have you listened to Come And Get It? I honestly think its one of the best pop albums ever made. It received very good reviews too - I remember it making The Guardian's "1000 albums to listen to before you die" list. Her first album was rubbish though, I'll give you that.

And anyone who's not already heard it should listen to Nothing In Common: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOPM5kEIb40 Its a Richard X-produced Come And Get It demo. Its absolutely brilliant.

although I think she only has an average voice and relied heavily on her looks, she was actually a little ahead of her time. She was putting out an Electro-pop sound when the market was just beginning its indie rock faze. If she'd arrived on the scene in say 2009 she'd have been massive.

Lolz..no.
Lisa Scott-Lee would never be a success on her own even with great material. She is so naff and desperate.

Rachel could have been huge though. Negotiate With Love is amazing!

She's just made a series of songs to encourage children to eat vegetables.

It's kind of sad, Come and Get It was one of the most underrated albums of the 00s, it's criminal just how much that underperformed.

She was a big success with the music she released which wasnt what people liked at the time? She was the same as Rachel just not as successful

I LOVED her!

Negotiate With Love
I Said Never Again (But Here We Are)
Some Girls
Sweet Dreams My LA Ex

And Particularly, So Good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z46Dm...eature=related (The video is pretty good )

Were brilliant pop tracks. It's a shame she didn't release them all on one album, I think she could have been huge if she hadn't flopped with Funky Dory

I think "So Good" eclipses that one. Fantastic pop song

Although personally I've always loved "Funky Dory"

I have both her albums and they're both good but her second one, Come and Get It, was actually a better album. Funky Dory (her first) had a few filler tracks on it. Her songs would probably do quite well in today's chart.

That song should really be released. It's brilliant! I love the beat.

Indeed Sweet Dreams My LA Ex was great. Rachel uniquely among female singers featured on 2 of my 30 fave songs of the last decade, with this and Don't Stop Moving from S Club 7.

I have both her albums and they're both good but her second one, Come and Get It, was actually a better album. Funky Dory (her first) had a few filler tracks on it. Her songs would probably do quite well in today's chart.
I also preferred Come and Get It to Funky Dory. I might stay at home next Easter so that I can listen to both her albums on her birthday on Easter Monday!

Another video from the 00's which Telephone reminded me of was The Sweet Escape by Gwen Stefani and Akon.

The singles off Funky Dory were good but there was a fair bit of filler as well. Haha good idea

She was a good solo artist i think it would be great if she worked with some of Britney's Producers and create a smash of an album
