Having had a Bush HD Freesat recorder which was a good machine....when it worked!! Freezing..going black...jumping during playback etc etc...I decided to return it to Argos and upgrade it to a Samsung (paying an extra £77 to boot!!).
Initially it worked well but after a few weeks it went slow in the morning...taking at least 10 seconds to change station!! When it heats up it appears to work better....but now the sign "HDD is not ready" symbol appears everytime I try and access the Library!! On the MENU setting the Library symbol now has a red dot next to it.......so no recording available!! I now have a very expensive Freesat HD box and not a PVR!!
I really like the Sammy but back to Argos to return my second box......will try another Sammy as I like it!!

Put Sammy on this morning and of course it is now working perfectly!! Channels change first time and on time. So I tried the Library function.....up came "please wait" and low and behold the Library page loaded. Seems to all work perfectly!! However, all the Library "Contents" have gone and having just recorded Saturday Kitchen Live I still doesn't appear on list!!
Frustrating!!!!
