This evening's Ulster v Scarlets game in the Pro12 has been postponed, with it having been planned as being a live game on both BBC Two Wales and BBC Two Northern Ireland.

It sounds like BBC Two Wales' Scrum V Live coverage would have been presented from their Cardiff studio by Ross Harries with Martyn Williams and Sean Holley. Both regular commentator Gareth Charles and pitchside reporter Phil Steele are out in Belfast, although I'm not sure who their co-commentator was due to be.

Athletics on BBC tomorrow but obviously they have no Crammy, Dicko or Jonthan Edwards so I will guess it will be Andrew Cotter and Steve Backley on commentary duty. Phil Jones is hosting

Friday 14th February - BBC Two Wales

Scrum V Live: Leinster v Newport Gwent Dragons

Ross Harries presenting alongside Martyn Williams and Sean Holley

Commentators: Nick Webb and Sean Holley

As mentioned in the first post on this page, BBC Two Wales had originally planned to broadcast the Ulster v Scarlets match which was postponed. In light of that, they switched to Leinster v Dragons - although as that was a 7.45pm kick-off rather than their usual 7.05pm kick-off time, they adjusted their programme start time from 7pm to 7.40pm.

Nick and Sean were quite clearly commentating off-tube given how Sean has been doubling up as a studio pundit!

You missed out the Pre game stuff last night with Brian Carney, Terry O'Connor and Barry McDermott and on Thursday with Brian and John Wells.

Why they need so many is beyond me

I heard a bit of the coverage today and at the time it sounded like Mike Costello from 5live was the lead commentator. He was commentating alongside Paula Radcliffe at the time.

Has Graham Beecroft been involved in Sky Sports' rugby league coverage so far this season?

No, though I would not have expected him to be yet. I would guess his first appearance is most likely in two weeks, on Friday 28th.

That night Sky will be showing Catalans vs Leeds live on the red button at the same time as they have Hull KR vs Castleford live on Sky Sports 1. I assume they will be calling the Catalans game from Isleworth, while they will still need a touchline reporter in Hull and someone in Widnes to report on their game against Huddersfield for Extra Time.

He could cover any of those, though I would expect Bill Arthur in London, Rod Studd in Hull, and Graham in Widnes. Although Angela Powers could cover the Widnes game instead, or even Stuart Pyke.

Commentary - Andrew Cotter, Mike Costello and Steve Backley. Cotter was the one that started the commentary when Jones handed over.

Has Graham Beecroft been involved in Sky Sports' rugby league coverage so far this season?
Seems my prediction was wrong, as he was reporter for tonight's game. I believe Rod Studd was calling the Premier League Darts.

Scrum V Live: Cardiff Blues v Leinster

Ross Harries presented from Cardiff Arms Park alongside Martyn Williams, with Sean Holley in the analysis truck

Commentators: Gareth Charles and Jonathan Davies

Reporter: Phil Steele

A rare Thursday night live Pro12 game on BBC Two Wales, owing of course to Wales v France taking place tonight. There was no Welsh language commentary on the Red Button due to the ongoing coverage of the Winter Olympics on that platform. Thanks for the information about Beeky's role on Sky Sports' rugby league coverage mavreela.
