I don't think BBC Two Wales provided an alternative Welsh language commentary on their live Judgement Day game, what with coverage of the World Snooker Championship taking precedence on the Red Button.

Julian Wilson, the former BBC racing correspondent and reporter, has died after a long battle with, I believe, cancer. RIP Julian.

Stuart Hall, rather than Stewart.

Louise Beckett was the female reporter on Motors TV / world feed. Then also had Sam Collins and Nick Daman.

Is that the current Wales international Jonathan Davies, or the former Wales international Jonathan Davies?

The current one, not the BBC one.

Last night for the Amlin Semi between Northampton and Harlequins Mark Robson and Ieuan Evans were on commentary with Bill Latham reporting

Gareth Roberts presented alongside Deiniol Jones and Brynmor Williams

Commentators: Huw Llywelyn Davies and Gwyn Jones

Reporter: Owain Gwynedd

S4C's presentation team were in the studio where BBC Two Wales' Scrum V Sunday magazine show is filmed at. I'm not sure who S4C's English language Red Button commentary team were, no doubt I'll find out the details on said show come Sunday though. S4C's main commentary team were on-site in Italy, they appeared in-vision pre-match.

Friday 2nd May - BBC Two Wales and BBC Red Button

Scrum V Live: Scarlets v Newport Gwent Dragons

Ross Harries presenting from Parc y Sgarlets alongside Martyn Williams and Dafydd Jones, with Sean Holley in the analysis truck

Commentators: Gareth Charles, Jonathan Davies and Martyn Williams

Red Button commentators: Cennydd Davies and Mefin Davies (sylwebaeth yn Gymraeg)

Reporter: Phil Steele

I'm pleasantly surprised to see the rugby taking priority over the snooker on the Red Button tonight. In previous years the snooker would (probably rightly) take top billing, but pleasingly tonight's session at The Crucible has been given the 7-9pm timeslot on BBC Two elsewhere in Britain so Scrum V Live can go onto the Red Button.

As yet no word on which two games are to be shown next week. My guess would be Quins v Bath on BTS1 and Tigers v Saracens on BTS2.

Bath Rugby's vital trip to Harlequins on Saturday will be broadcast live on BT Sport, Premiership Rugby today confirmed.

Northampton Saints v London Wasps the other game being broadcast live.

Bath v Quins was always going to be the big game, as it's the only non-dead rubber. I have to say I'm surprised (and disappointed) that Sarries v Tigers is not being shown out of the remaining dead-rubber clashes though.
