Schedule probably helped, it's the first week BT didn't do the Friday night game and 5 of their 6 games are in England and Wales

With a 5th (Racing-Treviso) likely to be done off-tube I would've thought.

Would imagine so, the reverse fixture was done off tube

Incidentally, early listings had Harlequins vs Castres on BT Sport 1 next Saturday afternoon and Wasps vs Leinster on BT Sport 2, I imagine that will swap now.

Also, according to his Twitter feed, Andrew Cotter is in Abu Dhabi for the golf this week hence Simon Ward on the Newcastle/Dragons game

While it rained at the ODI in Auckland yesterday, Sky Sports NZ replayed highlights of 3 matches from the 1992 Cricket World Cup.

New Zealand v Sri Lanka
TVNZ team:
Peter Williams - presenter (now one of TVNZ's leading news presenters)
Peter Sharp (mostly known as a radio commentator, died a couple of years ago)
Richard Hadlee
Henry Blofeld (then a regular on TVNZ)
John Morrison (NZ batsman)
Glenn Turner
Bob Cunis (NZ bowler)
Grant Nisbett (mostly a rugby commentator, but on the Sky Sports team for the 2nd NZ v SL test recently)

Australia v New Zealand
Obviously the Channel 9 team, though it was from Auckland:
Richie Benaud
Tony Greig
Bill Lawry
Tony Cozier
Richard Hadlee
Greg Chappell
South African voice probably Clive Rice

New Zealand v England
As for NZ v SL but Geoff Boycott replaced Bob Cunis

FIS Freestyle World Championships - Saturday 17th January (BBC Red Button)
Snowboard Halfpipe - Men and Ladies - Kreischberg, Austria

Commentator:Tim Warwood

This was shown in full on the red button on a 1 hour delay but shown live on the BBC website and connected tv app.

FIS Ski World Cup - Sunday 18th January (BBC Red Button)

Men Downhill - Wengen, Switzerland

Commentator:Seth Bennett

This was a late addition to the schedule due to many other cancellations and postponements. This event was originally due to run on Sat 17th with only highlights on Ski Sunday which they then did not feature.

Ski Sunday - Sunday 18th January (BBC Two)

Also featured an interview with Lindsey Vonn by Chemmy Alcott.

Great post kentkiwi, you're right with Clive Rice, he worked for Channel 9 throughout that tournament.

It's a shame that ESPN Classic is no more as they had the half hour highlights from the games in that World Cup. Would be nice if Sky Sports picked them up and had them as filler for their World Cup channel!

European Rugby Champions Cup - Saturday 24 January (BT Sport)

Sarra Elgan in the studio with Ugo Monye. During the hour's build up they went around the grounds to talk to Craig Doyle, Lawrence Dallaglio, Brian O'Driscoll and Joe Worsley at the Ricoh Arena, Ben Kay and Austin Healey in Castres and Martin Bayfield at Franklin's Gardens. The two teams only split about 10 mins before kickoff. (Could this be the sort of format BT use for the Champions League next season?)

Same as yesterday, though Darius Knight did not appear on the afternoon session today. That session (the last 16 matches) also overran by an hour, in part due to an amazing Rumgay vs Groenewald match which went down to a sudden death match point.

Andrew Rushton also joined the commentary for a match last night and this afternoon after having played his match.
