The BBC doesn't have a fixed 6pm news bulletin at the weekend, only Monday to Friday

It isn't Phil Yates it is Phillip Studd

Terry only got interviewed as part of the Widnes initiative, he wasn't part of the Sky team tonight.

I've been watching Goreuon Rygbi Huw Llywelyn Davies on S4C this evening and was interested to hear that in the clips from 1999 (I think) it was Huw doing the English-language commentary and what sounded like Gareth Charles doing the Welsh-language commentary.

How come they swapped back over?

I'm liking the BBC adapted blue/white graphics. Funny BBC have used the same standard stylings for everything bar Wimbledon, interesting why the 6 Nations they've went away from yellow/black.

EDIT: The in-play game graphics are very much like a combo BBC/6N WF design brand this year it seems. Those score graphics were used on the 6N youtube page last year.

For S4C we had Gareth Roberts initially hosting pitchside with Dwayne Peel, Rhys Patchell, Ken Owens and Deiniol Jones, with commentary from Gareth Charles, Gwyn Jones and Dwayne Peel. Dot Davies was on interview duty, whilst Deiniol 'de-camped' to do in-play tactical analysis.

S4C also changed their score graphic to take the 6Nations feed look, and for one English player interview the bottom half of his name was cropped out of the graphic.

I have criticised McNamara but he's been pretty solid in this first half. Not the emotion of Eddie Butler (not sure if that's a good or a bad thing) but generally he's been perfectly up to the job.

I haven't seen any host pictures from Italy, but looking at this picture from France it looks like all broadcasters are using the same type scorebar/graphics a la the Champions Cup

With the graphics on the French match today disappearing during replays as French broadcasters' graphics seem to do.

Interesting that they've gone with the BBC's font etc. and merged it with the world feed design from last year.
