Saturday 28th February - ITV

IBF World Super Bantamweight Championship Match: Carl Frampton v Chris Avalos

Mark Pougatch presented from the Odyssey Arena, Belfast alongside Al Bernstein and David Haye

Commentators: Ronald McIntosh and Al Bernstein

Reporter: Gabriel Clarke
I wasn't that impressed with McIntosh to honest. But there have been some great Boxing commentators down the years, Gutteridge, Darke & Rawling really are a tough act to follow. I thought Pougatch was pretty solid and Al Bernstein has always been a class act.

For the (France v Wales) Under 20 game afterwards (on S4C), Gareth (Roberts) still hosted form the Stade de France, doing small pieces with Dafydd Jones. Rhodri Lewellyn was commentating, but can't remember who was next to him.
I've checked - commentary came from Rhodri Lewellyn and Steffan Hughes. Owain Gwynedd was their reporter at St Gaudens. The iPlayer listing states that there was English language commentary available on the Red Button, although Gareth Roberts didn't trail it in English when handing over to commentary as he usually does.

St David's Day - BBC Two Wales

Scrum V Six Nations Special

Jason Mohammad presented alongside Gwyn Jones, Gareth Thomas and Martyn Williams, with Shane Williams at the bar

France v Wales - Andrew Cotter, Jonathan Davies and Ali Williams, with Ross Harries conducting post-match interviews
Scotland v Italy - Amy Salem (voiceover), with commentary from Eddie Butler and Andy Nicol
Ireland v England - Eddie Butler, Brian Moore and Phillip Matthews, with Sonja McLaughlan conducting post-match interviews

France Women v Wales Women - Non Evans (reporting), with commentary from Rick O'Shea and Non Evans (as BBC Radio Wales)

Sean's spotlight (analysis feature on France v Wales) - Sean Holley
News wrap (included clips from France Under-20s v Wales Under-20s and some of the games involving the Welsh regions in the Pro12) - Amy Salem

During the News wrap, they used a clip of Andy Moore's commentary on Craig Gilroy's try for Ulster v Scarlets from S4C's Red Button. Clips from the Zebre v Newport Gwent Dragons game didn't feature in that round-up. I spotted Sean Holley in with the studio audience, but the pre-recorded Sean's spotlight was his only contribution to the show. The programme ended with a curious little video of Sebastien Chabal explaining scrummaging.

McIntosh is one of the worst commentators I have ever heard. Can't understand why ITV used him. He does boxing on the BBC during the Olympics and Commenwealth Games and he is awful. Jim Neilly of BBC Northern Ireland would have been much better there are far better boxing commentators around, I am sure that McIntosh can't have been the only one available!!

Not sure if this has been mentioned as I haven't been up to date with a lot of the forum recently..

Scarlets v Leinster is live on Sky Sports this weekend. I didn't think they could show the same fixture twice a season? I'm sure they showed the corresponding fixture from the RDS at the beginning of the season?

Interestingly they did - have tweeted @skysportrugby to ask!

Coverage of this game was listed in the EPG for Freeview channel 601, but (I presume overrunning) Davis Cup tennis is on there instead.

Good news, having not heard much of him over the past six weeks it looks like Miles Harrison is back on Sky's rugby coverage today

Davis Cup Tennis - Friday 6th to Sunday 8th March (BBC Two, BBC Red Button & BBC One)

World Group 1st Round - Great Britain v USA

Presented by Sue Barker with analysis from Andrew Castle & John Lloyd

Commentators: Andrew Castle, John Lloyd & Jonathan Overend.

Interviews: Jonathan Overend & Andrew Castle.

A surprisingly small use of 'talent' by the BBC for this one considering the number of hours of coverage provided over the last 3 days and no worse for it. Castle and co often have their critics but I thought they did quite well this time. Sue Barker was barely seen or heard except for the occasional 'Final Score can now be seen on BBC Two' etc...
