Does anybody know who the course commentators were? I recognised Mark Johnson and Stewart Machin but did not recognise the third commentator.
I haven't heard it myself, but I know Richard Hoiles has been there commentating so it may well have been him

I heard Richard Hoiles on Friday but the middle commentator did not sound like him. That was certainly the trio in 2010 and 2011 so it probably was RH to complete the list in 2012.

I've just checked the Racing UK website and on the video Mark Johnson did the start and finish, Stewart Machin covered the fences around Beecher's/Canal Turn and Richard Hoiles did the fences either side out in the country

West Indies v Australia - 2nd Test (Sunday 15th April - Thursday 19th April)

Presenter: Matt Floyd
Pundits: Colin Croft (All 5 Days), Dominic Cork (Days 1-3) and Ian Harvey (Days 4+5)

Commentary from TWI/Sky Sports team of Michael Holding, Tony Cozier, Fazeer Mohammed, Geoff Lawson and Nathan Bracken.

Oddly, from the little bit I saw online it seems Michael Holding is presenting for the host broadcaster in the absence of Bishop. Odd, as he doesn't even do interviews over here (unless they are very short on a CB40 game)

Harlequins v Leicester Tigers

Will Greenwood presented with Sean Fitzpatrick and Dewi Morris.

Miles Harrison with Stuart Barnes on the gantry.

Thought Will was as good as could have been expected in the presenters chair. Only saw the build up because i went out just before half time but he seemed capable enough.

Do you know who the new bloke that's been presenting some Super Rugby and Sevens since Lazenby's move to F1 is?

Odd that Greenwood was used. Where are Payne and Gemmell this weekend?

I think it was Rupert Cox (who voices the supersonic features on the rugby club) presenting Bulls v Brumbies on Sky Sports 4. (Only caught the very end and there was hardly post-match studio stuff) I'm not sure if he's presented any other Super rugby/sevens stuff. I don't watch the later and i've only seen Payne or Gemmell on small amount of Super rugby that I catch. (Tend just to watch the main Skygo highlights).

Fitzy has a blog online from this mornings Super Rugby games suggesting he was in the studio? So i doubt Gemmell did those otherwise he'd have travelled to the stoop with Fitzy.

Greenwood tweet saying he was only keeping the seat warm for Payne so i'd just guess both he and Gemmell were just prior engaged today.

As a side note I think Gemmell is superb and very unlucky to play second fiddle on the live matches to Alex Payne.

I suppose this reflects the fact that Payne was their first and came through the Sky system, whilst I think I'm right in saying Gemmell was poached from a southern hemisphere broadcaster.

I don't follow rugby closely but like to keep up to date with who is presenting what at Sky.

I didn't see it, but Greenwood presenting is a horrifying thought. He's bad enough as a pundit!

i do agree that Gemmell is excellent. He should be there number 1 with Payne 2.

To add to CoventryWoos posts of the afternoon and evening sessions

World Snooker Championship Day 2

Presenter: Hazel Irvine
With: Willie Thorne & Steve Davis

Morning Session
Luca Brecel v Stephen Maguire – Dennis Taylor & John Parrott
David Gilbert v Martin Gould – Neal Foulds & Terry Griffiths

At the minute BBC are using John Parrott, Steve Davis, Dennis Taylor, John Virgo, Willie Thorne, Terry Griffiths & Neal Foulds as commentators with no Clive Everton at all this year. I expect Ken Doherty back in the BBC Commentary Box tomorrow and Stephen Hendry may be commentating later on in the tournament aswell

Yes indeed, no Snooker Journalists in the box anymore and I don't know if Clive is on Eurosport. If the BBC follow their format of the last few years Foulds and Griffiths will disappear after the Quarter Finals and leave Taylor, Virgo, Doherty and Thorne while Davis and Parrott will be in the studio with Hazel or Rishi but if Hendry commentates like at the Masters I expect Thorne will also disappear at the Quarter Final stage

Stephen Hendry will be working for the BBC for the last 5 days of the tournament (unless he gets to the semis of course).

Commentating for Eurosport are Mike Smith,Joe Johnson, David Hendon, Mike Hallett, Phil Yates and Alan McManus.

So I assume of the regular BBC men Willie Thorne will probably miss out on the Semis and Finals should Hendry be knocked out early as he didn't do the Masters this year when Hendry was involved.
