With the match being a 4.15pm kick-off and Scrum V Sunday running from 5.45-6.30pm, they kept the Newport Gwent Dragons v Leinster highlights edit until ten minutes before the end of the show, with Ross and Jonathan conducting a live interview with Dragons coach Kingsley Jones following on from the edit.
Bethan Clement introduced the three other Pro12 edits plus a short feature on an Ospreys social event after their game in Treviso and was also in the studio to do her news round-up midway through the show.
Rick O'Shea's report was primarily about Trimsaran player Carl Griffiths, who had to stop playing until he could get some
size 21 boots! After that feature, they showed a clip of Pontyberem referee Nigel Owens taking a tumble in Saturday's Connacht v Edinburgh Pro12 game, which was pulled directly off Sky's live coverage with all the graphics left in, including the "Sky Sports 1 Live" one in the top right hand corner. The programme's closing montage showed a couple of "the greatest tries that never were" from the famous 1973 Barbarians v New Zealand game (complete with Cliff Morgan's commentary) to mark the 125th anniversary of the Barbarians.
