Having listened today i can safely say that Andrew Castle is ten times worse, he should simply stick to the Injury Lawyers 4U adverts, he is simply awful.
Haha! They're both as abysmal as each other

Samoa v New Zealand will be show on SS1 on Wednesday morning, KO 3am, with the match set to be repeated later in the day (seemingly in its entirety as it gets a 2h slot) at 8am and 1pm on SS1, then at 7pm on SS3.

Fantastic that he is being recognized, golf will sound the same when he retires from the sport

The Open Golf Championship on the BBC- Presented by Hazel Irvine. With commentary by Peter Alliss, Ken Brown, Andrew Cotter, Mark James, Frank Nobilo, Philip Parkin, Maureen Madill and Julian Tutt, and reports from Cara Robinson and Rishi Persad.

I believe this is Julian Tutt's first work for the BBC for a few years. He questioned Tiger Woods's integrity back in 2006 and did not have his contract renewed. He was then dropped from covering Wimbledon in 2008 after referring to a player's hotel as a 'bordello.'

Thanks for the info Tony. Interesting to see Julian Tutt involved in the main coverage. As you said he was dropped from the main coverage but has for the last few years been involved on the world feed which has appeared on the red button.

Great to see Cara Robinson part of the team as well. No Dan Walker though?

I'm watching the replay - presumably there was studio presentation for the live game.

He does have a daily show on 5Live during the week, but I presume this wouldn't be on during the Open anyway. Maybe they wanted someone who could do all four days?

John Inverdale is presenting the live coverage of the Open on 5Live as usual, Dan Walker is hosting the 5Live preview on Wednesday night though.

John Inverdale commentating on Wimbledon today, I've not seen much this year. Has he done a lot?

He has. Quite a few high profile matches too, including a mens and a womens quarter final. I have to say he is very good too. Doesn't talk too much, is highly prepared and 'statted' up and obviously knows his stuff

Thanks for posting this - heard the news last week but hadn't seen your post.

Well worth looking at the link and the video of Peter's wife and the magazine article.

Such sad news - even though it is only in its "early stage" I find it absolutely frightening to think it could have come on so quickly - it's amazing to think he actually commentated on the PGA Championship for CBS as usual last August (or at least I think he did) after he had been diagnosed - which just seems extraordinary. When was his last appearance on Sky?

And all this after his sister died last year as well.

But very good to see Jim Nantz with him and involvement of Jim's charity.

Nope, they just took the straight Sky Sports NZ feed. It was a pretty low budget presentation on all sides, with SS NZ not even doing any half time analysis.

I did wonder after that strange post-anthem Visit Samoa advert whether they were off-tube. Nisbo seemed to take a while to realise that they had cut back to the live feed, and by the time he said anything the refereeing captions had all come up and the match was about to kick off.

I guess the fact that they had a sideline reporter means that they were in Apia.
