Hard to tell if off tube or not.

Not sure if this will continue into weeks where the split goes against the BBC.”

They were in ground for those games, here's a picture from Sunday

I guess week 4 will be interesting as the BBC only have the final match so highlights of the first two games of the weekend will form part of that show rather than a lengthier highlights show. Full comms for the two Saturday games?

They lose the rights to do a highlights show in Rounds 4 and 5 so I guess we'll see then.

I wonder if this commentary is being heard elsewhere?

Is there a World Feed for the 6 Nations?

Doesn't seem to be, the Six Nations YouTube page isn't much help as their highlights don't have commentary.

From what I can piece together from Australia and New Zealand clips, so far they've taken the BBC comms for their games, the RTE comms for Ireland vs Wales and the ITV comms for Italy vs England

Disappointed to see Dallaglio suddenly commentating on the big game (and presumably England-Wales now as well). Would have much preferred Kay or Flatman. I wonder which one will now be on the Scotland game, presumably with Hastings?

I was expecting faux-Italian expert Lawrence Dallaglio. I guess Bortolami.

Now in full glory on a two-game weekend for ITV, with all those pundits once more on the England game, ITA v SCO is nothing more than some fodder and they really just care about England.

Saints V Sydney Roosters - Hosted by Eddie Hemmings and Stevo with Sam Tomkins. Half time analysis with Brian Carney and Jon Wells. Commentary by Rod Studd, Phil Clarke and Barrie and Terry. Stuart Cummings with Ref's view. Touchline and interviews with Bill Arthur. So a very slight amendment, not much. Looking like Brian Carney will be their top man when Eddie goes. I can see him moving up to the co-com role when Stevo retires and takes the time off for his hip-op.

When is stevo having a hip op?

I think Paul cullen may be stevo replacement. I presume all contracts up at end of season

I think Eddie, Cullen, Carney, Clarke will be a team

Think he said next week then he will be off a couple of weeks. Last week Carney was the main co comm and he was excellent.

BBC 2 Wales and Scotland - same as last week (rather than alba - although last week they'd all be in Wales for 6N anyway for various tv/radio work).

BBC Wales pictures for the game but BBC 2 Sco had Dougie Vipond in some wee bit in a far corner with Andy Nicol. Hugh Dan MacLennan and John Beattie on Comms. Same as last week. I guess BBC Welsh, Cymru and Scottish radio commentaries too.

I'm wondering if Eddie Hemmings will just focus on commentary from next season, a la Brian Moore on ITV football in the late eighties, and Brian Carney will be the main presenter.

Another sad day for sport, on a personal level Duffield was one of the greats. In a day when Eurosport was far less polished than it is now, was on his own for hours and generally with little action happening on the road he always kept the viewer engaged and entertained. He was one of the few commentators who could throw in an anecdote with 750m to go and still make it feel it like he timed it perfectly. In an era when most of the achievements on the road eventually became tainted his commentaries were always full of honest emotion.

From memory I think it was injured Quins scrum half Karl Dickson
