When likes of Nobilo and Faldo on NBC/Golf Channel too as well as CBS on varying weekends on the PGA Tour why is David Feherty excluded?

Nobilo and Faldo both have joint Golf Channel/CBS contracts, CBS decided not to renew Feherty's contract so he is now at NBC/Golf Channel

Whilst Golf Channel and NBC are now owned by the same company Faldo (and since last season Nobilo) don't appear on any programming broadcast on NBC

F1 Bahrain GP (Channel 4)

Presenter: Steve Jones presenting from the Sakhir International Circuit in Bahrain
Pundits: David Coulthard, Mark Webber, Susie Wolff
Commentators: Ben Edwards, David Coulthard with Karun Chandhok in the pit lane
Reporter: Lee Mckenzie

They had a very interesting idea for their qualifying and race build up, the presenting team was split for most segments which I thought worked very well. Steve was with Susie and David presented some segments with Webber and they both did the grid walk together. Steve and Susie also went behind the Mercedes pit garage before the Pit Lane opened which was quite cool!

I don't normally post practice details but since this was C4's first live race I thought it would be best to post them. Steve Jones presented Friday practises and he was joined by Karun Chandhok who doubled up as pundit and pit reporter for FP1. I don't think there was a pit reporter for FP2/3 as Karun was in the box with Ben Edwards, the later commentated on all 3 practice sessions and was joined by Tony Dodgins for FP1. Lee Mckenzie presented FP3 on Saturday.

There was not much difference with the practice coverage compared to the BBC's despite the adverts, a bit of a shame they could of added a bit more build up and reaction to these sessions like Sky do but let's not upset C4's weekday audience .

F1 Bahrain GP (Sky Sports F1)

Presenter: Simon Lazenby presenting from the Sakhir International Circuit in Bahrain
Pundits: Martin Brundle, Johnny Herbert, Paul Di Resta
Commentators: David Croft, Martin Brundle with Ted Kravitz in the pit lane
Reporter: Rachael Brookes

As Damon and Anthony Davidson was off, Paul Di Resta doubled up as pundit and Skypad analyst.

I didn't see The F1 Show but I assume it was Lazenby presenting with Di Resta and Herbert as pundits so please correct me if I am wrong.

The F1 Report: Bahrain GP Review (Sky Sports F1)

Presenter: Natalie Pinkham presenting from Sky Studios in London
Guests: Kevin Eason, Ben Hunt

With no Priestly this week our guests this week is a load of tabloid newspaper reporters.

Johnnie Hammond is a truly awful commentator to listen to. Really don't like his vocal quality and his pronunciation is appalling. I'd love to know who this "Benjamin Paillaugue" guy is as well.

Real shortage of good rugby commentators at the moment though, beyond the usual suspects.

*waves, one day, fingers crossed!*

I don't mind Hammond as a number 3/4 job. I just his voice sounds like he's whispering loudly.

Though McKenna and Goode were doing a cheap off-tube job, their commentary (or what I head of it flicking between the two games) was actually quite good.

Given my remarks about Johnnie Hammond on Friday night I'd say BT have better rugby commentators as first, second and third choice now, plus Andrew Cotter to come in now and again.

Andy Goode is good behind the mic as well if it's an avenue he wants to take in his retirement.

For a British side in a European QF. Terrible move to do an offtube cheap job.

I rate Andrew McKenna highly as an all-round sports broadcaster - I've heard some of his rugby union commentary work in the past and I think he's as good as they come among those regularly covering the sport on national radio.

Now that he's regularly commentating on Premiership games for talkSPORT 2, but that station doesn't have rights to the European Rugby Champions or Challenge Cups, I reckon he might become a regular on BT Sport during European weekends next season.

Wasn't really concentrating, but Johnny Nelson presented the fight with Audley Harrison and David Haye. Nick Halling commentated but can't remember who was with him. Other guests will have been used

For the undercard Ed Robinson hosted at ringside with Johnny Nelson, Carl Froch and Glenn McCrory as punidts. Adam Smith and Paul Smith commentated.

Later on, Johnny Nelson hosted from the stage with Audley Harrison and David Haye. Nick Halling and Glenn McCrory commentated with special comments from Carl Froch. Jim Watt was conspicuous by his absence.

A very bizarre setup. It’s odd enough that Nelson has been replaced as host of the live Fight Night cards and works as a pundit, and then comes in to host the PPVs, but to only host the main event while working as a pundit on the undercard doesn't make much sense.

It’s like Sky have lost confidence in him presenting, but feel the more casual viewers that the big PPVs bring in must warm to him more than Ed Robinson.

They did the same for Quigg Frampton, but Nelson doesn't fully replace Robinson. Ed still has a role ringside with a pundit and its almost like they have 2 presenting teams, its certainly odd but something had to be done because Nelson is dreadful. Although on twitter Nelson suggested it was his idea as he wanted to be able to give his opinions more.

Robinson also presented the post fight section, with Nelson, Froch, Haye and Harrison as pundits.

Saturday 9th April - Premier Sports

Live Boxing: WBO International Welterweight Championship: Manny Pacquiao v Timothy Bradley III

Commentators: Colonel Bob Sheridan, Rich Marotta and Crystina Poncher (as Top Rank's international feed)

I'm not sure if Premier Sports had any studio presentation (for a show airing at 4am in the morning, I doubt it), but they used the international feed coverage - as did radio broadcaster talkSPORT 2, despite it being a TV feed, with them crediting this to Premier Sports - rather than HBO's domestic broadcast.

On HBO PPV, commentary came from Jim Lampley, Max Kellerman and Roy Jones Jr, with Harold Lederman providing his unofficial scorecard. Kellerman conducted the in-ring post-fight interviews - I think Poncher did the ones heard on the international feed.
