Alastair Eykyn is in Japan this weekend, hence the rather left-field selections of Sara Orchard and Gareth Rhys Owen on games you might expect him to cover normally.

ATP World Tour Finals Final Novak Djokovic vs Andy Murray BBC TWO

Presented by Sue Barker

Punditry from Tim Henman and Stefan Edberg

Commentators - Andrew Castle and Tim Henman

Very nice surprise to have Stefan Edberg as part of the coverage, when was the last time Edberg did any punditry?
And on Sky it was Marcus Buckland with Greg Rusedski and Annabel Croft. Commentary from Mark Petchey and Peter Fleming.

World Cup of Golf - SS4

Introduced by James Haddock (off-screen)

Commentators: Richard Kaufman, Ian Baker-Finch and Wayne Grady
On Course: Ossie Moore and Wayne Riley (all as Channel 7 Australia)

Kaufman is also the main host on Channel 7. Sometimes the PGA Coverage can be bad but this takes the biscuit... In about half an hour of coverage, with loads of players out we've seen hardly any shots 5 or 6 max... They keep going back to watch 1st tee offs and all the fanfare around each team starting and are showing endless VT endorsements!

Golf Channel in the USA have Steve Burkowski there as a host but are taking the same coverage, with their own graphics.

On the last couple of Scrum V Live's I've seen Phil Steele has not been the pitchside reporter, does anyone know why? (I'm hoping the Difference may know)

Catrin Heledd has been on duty instead.

I'm not sure to tell you the truth, as I've not been watching Scrum V that regularly over the past year or so (although I've enjoyed what I've caught of their Autumn International Specials this month).

Looking at Phil's Twitter feed, he has recently released an autobiography and it appears he has been visiting various rugby clubs to promote it. So perhaps this is the reason why we've not seen him on Scrum V Live recently. Hopefully he'll be back for the Christmas derbies.

Eric Bristow has been sacked by Sky following his comments about footballers who suffered from child abuse. I presume he was going to the PDC World Championship for them but looks like that won't be the case..

He works on most of Sky's darts as a spotter, I believe.

Thanks Mr Difference, I did similar looking at his twitter feed so saw he is releasing an autobiography so will look forward to that. As you say hopefully he will be back on duty soon.

Yeah spotter was his main role, he also appeared at the start of each programme to preview the night's action and did the odd commentary stint.

My heart sank yesterday on twitter when Nick Dougherty tweeted "Looking forward to my first day presenting..." Sounds like to me a more semi-permanent thing. Absolutely rabbit-headlighting it today.
