Now I have always liked Nick Faldo but yesterday i found him rather annoying. He took charge and talked over Peter Allis quite a bit, especially when the winning putt was sunk.

David Harmon, Sean Kelly and Carlton Kirby are commentating.

As for studio presentation on British Eurosport, I know that James Richardson has been anchoring it, but I'm not sure who's been alongside him.
Variously: Magnus Bδckstedt, Rob Hayles, Daniel Lloyd, Tony Gibb, John Herety and William Fotheringham.

Malcolm Elliott appeared in previous years but I'm not sure if he popped up this year.

Mark Nicholas will not be on Ch 5 for the Second Test next week, he will be one of the presenters for Ch 9s Olympic coverage

Can't see why he wouldn't be available for the third Test, as it's after the Olympics

Can't answer your second question though. I'm guessing Simon Hughes

And I'm guessing that Alec Stewart - who normally does the one-dayers instead of Geoff Boycott for C5 - will be the replacement body to bring it back up to a four-man compliment (alongside Hughes, Boycott and Michael Vaughan).

Is there a South African representative with C5 this time?

No, Channel 5 haven't used an overseas commentator since Michael Vaughan joined the team in 2010 as he filled the usually opposition dependent 4th commentator slot.

Stewart usually does the updates on R5L, although they may use Butcher if he isn't on the Sky Highlights (or indeed someone else.)

There might be a South African over here they may use. I doubt Supersport have sent a team over, they didn't send one to New Zealand in the spring.

that because they were members of the supersports team also commentating in that series, so they shared the coverage, like sky and ten cricket shared the coverage of the pakistan and sri lanka tour, i really hate the sky sports Commentatory team too bias for my liking, they really should drop warne, and replace him with a 2nd touring commentator, can some one confirm if warne is doing the 2nd or 3rd test, i heard he was going back to australia.
Back in Melbourne for 3 weeks soon, how's the winter been, sunny but cold or has it been wet ? Huge session this one at the oval...
from twitter page.
Why is Warne even commentating for sky, he has never finished a full tour before.

No only Barry Richards served as the "overseas" commentator for that series and he no longer works for Supersport.

Warne said to Atherton during the first test that his next game was the Second Test at Headingley. (After Atherton confirmed his locations for the T20 quarters.) Joking that he was on "strength and conditioning" training until then.

are you sure there was no supersports coverage for that series, it would be odd for supersports to show a series containing south Africa with one south African commentator,
Michael Haysman was seen in the oval test, he was talking to tim abraham in sky sports news.

Sky's Commentary is one of the best in the business. Every other commentary teams are so biased. India's for example, and Mark Nicholas aside the Channel 9 mob are just are that slavering all over the Australian team.

I watched plenty of the series and Richards was the only South African voice.

On one morning of a test Simon Doull said "a big welcome to our viewers in South Africa watching on Supersport".

all commentator are going to be bias, but i am saying as a team of commentators sky are very bias for my liking, some of sky commentators are very good, such as Hussain, Atherton and bumble, Holding, but they haven't got the 2nd touring commentator that will make it more interesting, i enjoy the banter between the two sets of commentators, take last years coverage of england vs india, Espn Star sports had a better commentators team they had Hussain, Bumble. Alan Wilkins, Shastri, Gavaskar, Ganguly and Akram, the coverage has so many adverts but there was so much banter between the commentators, Shastri even had a rant with Hussain,
PS Sky coverage is the best, but they shouldn't get too arrogant, in the early 2000s Channel 9 had the best coverage, now they are really crap,
this would be my Dream Sky commentator team
Bumble, Hussain, Atherton, touring commentator 1 and 2, Holding, Botham/Gower

maybe supersports were not bothered to send their own team for this small series, when India toured west indies in 2011, Ten cricket did not send they own team and only gavasker was the Indian commentator, in the series, because many indian commentators were taking a holiday.

Outside of Sky it isn't usual for overseas broadcasters to send their own team. ESPN STAR are the only other broadcaster that I know have regularly in the past..

Last night's T20 quarter-finals:

Presented by Ian Ward with Nick Knight and Mark Butcher at Trent Bridge

Yorkshire v Worcestershire Royals

Michael Atherton, David Lloyd, Paul Allott and Robert Croft

Nottinghamshire Outlaws v Hampshire Royals

Ian Ward, Nasser Hussain, Nick Knight and Mark Butcher
