I didn't catch all of the pre-match features but of the ones I saw, Jed Thian from the Alternative Rugby Commentary fame did a satirical take on Samoan rugby. Jed has been used on the alternative Fanscene Red Button commentaries on Friday night Autumn Internationals in past seasons.
He'll be back for the Edinburgh V Ospreys game next Friday *I think*

Some more rugby news:-

In a first for international rugby, the matches will be streamed in markets outside the United Kingdom that currently do not broadcast the games, including Spain, Sweden, Russia, Turkey and Portugal.

Botham mentioned in his Mirror column today that they are commentating from a studio in England for the India v England cricket series due to Sky not stumping up a 500K facilitating fee on top of the money they have already paid for the rights

Good on Sky for digging there heels in, I expect the India board were expecting Sky to cave in last minute or come to some sort of arrangement

Sunday 18th November - BBC Two Wales

Scrum V

Ross Harries presented alongside Jonathan Davies, Kingsley Jones and Gareth Thomas

Autumn Internationals
Wales v Samoa - Gareth Charles and Jonathan Davies, with Phil Steele conducting post-match interviews
England v Australia - Conor McNamara and Brian Moore
Scotland v South Africa - Andrew Cotter and Andy Nicol

This week's features saw Ross Harries voice a montage surmising the reasons for Wales' slump in form and he also conducted an interview with All Blacks legend Sir Colin Meads, while Rick O'Shea and Jed Thian looked back on classic Wales v New Zealand moments to preview next Saturday's match. They also showed a snippet of Huw Edwards' interview with WRU Group Chief Executive Roger Lewis from BBC One Wales' The Wales Report.

They didn't show any clips from the Ireland XV v Fiji game for whatever reason, with the score captions left in (including the BBC Three dog on England v Australia) for brief edits of the other two games. It was about a 10 minute edit with 20 minutes of analysis on Wales v Samoa.

Treviso v Ulster
Commentator: Jim Neilly

This was shown on freeview on 301 in Northern Ireland and on other platforms. They had no studio, reporters, half time analysis etc. like they would do for an Ulster home match and they just showed the match with Jim Neilly commentating presumably from BBC NI in Belfast. It was the like the snooker on the Red Button where during the interval they show the graphic of whos playing etc.

And for S4C, it's Gareth Roberts at first hosting pitchside from the Millennium Stadium, with Gareth Davies, Gareth Edwards and Dafydd Jones with him for build up. Commentary from Huw Llewellyn Davies and Dr. Gwyn Jones, with Dot Davies pitchside reporter.

One day, Gareth Roberts will be so close to the Male Voice Choir that they'll smother him.

Sunday 25th November - TSN (Canada), NBC Sports Network (USA) and ESPN America (Europe)

The CFL on TSN: 100th Grey Cup: Calgary Stampeders v Toronto Argonauts

Dave Randorf presented from pitchside at the Rogers Centre alongside Jock Climie, Matt Dunigan, Milt Stegall and Chris Schultz

Brian Williams presented the pre-game ceremonies, the half-time show and the trophy presentation from the field, with Matt Dunigan conducting interviews during the trophy presentation

In-game analysis: Paul LaPolice provided his Coach's Playbook throughout the match; Doug Flutie joined Chris and Glen in the commentary box during the third quarter

Sunday 25th November - BBC Two Wales

Scrum V

Ross Harries presented alongside Jonathan Davies, Kingsley Jones and Lyn Jones

Autumn Internationals
Wales v New Zealand - Eddie Butler and Jonathan Davies, with Sonja McLaughlan and S4C's Dot Davies conducting post-match interviews
England v South Africa - Alistair Bruce-Ball and Brian Moore
Scotland v Tonga - John Beattie and Andy Nicol
Ireland v Argentina - Andrew Cotter and Phillip Matthews

RaboDirect Pro12
Edinburgh v Ospreys - Gareth Charles and Scott Hastings
Munster v Scarlets - Gareth Rhys Owen
Round-up (including parts of the two above edits plus Newport Gwent Dragons v Connacht and Zebre v Cardiff Blues) - Phil Steele (reporting)

Even though eight games featured on this Sunday's Scrum V, they actually spent longer on Wales than they had done during the previous two weekend programmes, with a 15 minute edit, ten minutes of reaction and the best part of ten minutes previewing next Saturday's Wales v Australia game. This meant highlights of the other seven games were brief tries edits. The original scorebars including the clocks were left in on all four edits of the internationals, including Wales v New Zealand, although the BBC Three dog was removed from the England v South Africa edit.

No features this week but they closed the show with Jed Thian from the Alternative Rugby Commentary giving a rallying cry to Wales fans to get behind their team before the Australia game (he's a Kiwi!).

What a gutting way to end the Autumn Internationals if you are a Wales fan.
