One thing i've always noticed and wondered, is why Ian Eagle is pronounced IRON Eagle? Presume it must be an American thing, i know the name Ian has Scottish origins and is also popular in Australia but i don't know of too many Americans (occasional baseball players) with that name and i don't know of anyone or anywhere else who pronounces it like that.
Incidentally he does CBS NFL also and is quite highly thought of stateside.
I probably need to get out more.
