Sunday 29th September - BBC Two Wales

Scrum V Sunday

Ross Harries presented alongside Jonathan Davies, Robert Jones and Gareth Llewellyn

RaboDirect Pro12
Connacht v Ospreys - Phil Steele
Leinster v Cardiff Blues - Gareth Charles and Stuart Davies
Edinburgh v Scarlets - Nick Webb
Munster v Newport Gwent Dragons - Cennydd Davies and Tom Shanklin (as S4C)

Principality Premiership
Round-up - Lowri Morgan (reporting)

Interviews with Dan Lydiate and Jamie Roberts from Paris - Ross Harries
Feature on Gowerton v Trimsaran (SWALEC League Division Four West) - Rick O'Shea

The edit of Edinburgh v Scarlets (including Nick Webb's commentary) was also shown during the final half hour of Friday's Scrum V Live (their live game, Leinster v Cardiff Blues, kicked-off at 7.35pm, giving them an ample 7.30-10pm timeslot). During the feature from France, they showed some clips of Lydiate and Roberts playing for Racing Metro in the Top 14 that were captioned "courtesy of BT Sport." Jonathan Davies had left the studio by the time they filmed Scrum V Extra Time for the BBC Sport website, where Ross, Robert and Gareth did the honours.

Friday 4th October - BBC Two Wales and BBC Red Button

Scrum V Live: Ospreys v Ulster

Ross Harries presenting from the Liberty Stadium alongside Huw Bennett, with Sean Holley in the analysis truck

Commentators: Gareth Charles and Jonathan Davies

Red Button commentators: Cennydd Davies and Garan Evans (sylwebaeth yn Gymraeg)

Reporter: Phil Steele, joined by Huw Bennett at pitchside

At half-time, they showed clips from an interview with Jonathan Davies of the Scarlets conducted by Cennydd Davies, which I imagine will be shown at greater length on Scrum V Sunday.

Not seen as much of the Tri-Nations as much as i've liked to, since when have Sky used Miles Harrison and Stuart Barnes on these matches? They are currently on South Africa v NZ (presume offtube). Is this just SA home games?

This is the first time they've done one this year from memory.

Don't know for definite, but I think they were in Jo'burg as on a brief bit I saw Barnes referenced some lead up play to an early try as 'Worth coming out to Johannesburg for'

Sunday 6th October - BBC Two Wales and BBC Red Button

Scrum V Live: Cardiff Blues v Edinburgh

Ross Harries presenting from the Cardiff Arms Park alongside Robert Jones, with Kingsley Jones in the analysis truck

Commentators: Gareth Charles and Jonathan Davies

Red Button commentators: Gareth Rhys Owen and Emyr Lewis (sylwebaeth yn Gymraeg)

Reporter: Phil Steele

I think I've got the details of the Welsh language Red Button commentary team right, although I didn't hear a proper namecheck when I tuned in at the start of the second half. Hopefully Ian C will confirm.

Sky Sports used their entire rugby league team last night by the look of it

Super League Grand Final

Hosted by Eddie Hemmings with all the team making appearances but the commentary was

SD and HD commentary - Eddie Hemmings, Mike Stephenson, Phil Clarke, Brian Carney and Shaun McRea

3D commentary - Bill Arthur, Barrie McDermott, Terry O'Connor, John Kear and Paul Cullen

Half time analysis - John Wells

Interviews and pitchside - Rod Studd

Funnily enough this week Sky Sports have been showing some of the older Grand Finals. It wasn't that long ago that they just used Eddie and Stevo, then Phil Clarke joined. Now it's Uncle Tom Cobley and all.

Great Scottish Run, BBC2

Presenter: Dougie Vipond
Commentators: Paul Dickenson, Brendan Foster and Liz McColgan
Reporters: David Currie and Rhona McLeod

Despite going out UK-wide, the graphics were branded "BBC Sport Scotland", as were the microphones.

Was this essentially though a 'just for' BBC Scotland production but maybe due to DQF rest of the UK got it as a 'filler'? Surely if this was originally/supposed to be a uk-wide broadcast they wouldn't of used Dougie Vipond.

Premier will have Andrew Voss coming over plus they will use Dave Woods like they do. I am guessing Voss will do the big games as Woods will be covering those for the BBC

What's wrong with Harrington?

I hope at some point Nigel Pearson gets more of the bigger games, I like him.

Dull voice, monotone and adds nothing for me. Plus very disrespectful to the BDO which I think is a low blow.

Others are far better in my opinion.
