i think she was incredible from her 80's material and her 90's material. even when she married her ex-husband bobby brown she was still making some good songs. but her voice started getting worse when she released whitney and i look to you in the 2000's. whitney still could've made more hits had she not married bobby. she had the talent but she just threw it away for crack imo.

what do u think about whitney do u still like her? i

It saddens me what Drugs did to this talented lady but I still love and respect her because what caused her problems in her personal life, doesn't take away their talent or how i felt about them before.

I don't believe Bobby was truly to blame for her downfall because she continued using drugs after they divorced.

From the amount of records she sold, I presume quite a lot of people did.

She's the ultimate example of why you should just say no. What a talent she was, young; beautiful, rich, then Mr Brown comes along and spoils it all for everyone. What a waste of DNA that cretin is.

This video sums him up (warning: NSFW, rude words)

I know where you are coming from but in many relationships there is a dominant partner who influences the other partner. Of course we will never know the absolute truth but I'm sure it will have been Brown who introduced her to hard drugs. If you look at the clip he seems such a menacing, controlling person as well, with the threat of violence so close to the surface. But i do accept the ultimate responsibility for what you do is down to youreslf.

I loved her up-tempo numbers and some of the non single released ballads.

She was a huge star in her day and it is very tragic what happened. I don't think if you went back to 1988 and told people what would happen they would believe a word of it.I still cant and think it is very very sad.
