Who's your favourite of The Broons?
Who's your favourite out of Scotland's Happy Family, that make every family happy? Aye, it's braw, so it is.
If you don't know what i'm talking about, The Broons is a comic strip in The Sunday Post (published by the same braw company who makes The Beano and Dandy) about a squabbling family who live in No 10. Glebe Street, Auchenshoogle. The members of this family are Paw, Maw, Grandpaw, Hen, Joe, Maggie, Daphne, Horace, The Twins and The Bairn. |

I never really had a favourite but I liked them better than Oor Wullie.
Th Viz spoof is one of the best things they've ever done, capturing the spirit of the strip to a tee, but still being 'Viz' like with the punchline. |

I think the larger main cast meant they were more re-readable than 'Oor Wullie'. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy Wullie, but the Broons shade it for me.
