I don't understand why Hucknall wrapped up Simply Red when it was basically a solo project anyway and it's a brand name that's sold a lot of records.

mick said he wanted to explore other genres of music and couldn't do that with the simply red brand name.
Which has a certain pop/soul sound I do think it's a really stupid idea to be honest as he won't get as much support. I'd really love it if the original line-up of simply red with fritnz mcintyre got back together at some point. I do like the xmas single though. |
