Help with freeview on a Sony Bravia
I've started to use the freeview on my bravia.
But when flicking through the channels, the tv turns it self off and back on. It's getting really annoying, does anyone know what it might be? Thanks for any help. |

Do you mean actually going into and out of standby or simply that the screen goes blank for a second or so? If the latter then that is perfectly normal behaviour for most digital TVs.

It actually switches off into standby for a couple of seconds then comes back on.

It may need a firmware update, available from the Sony website.
Type in the model number at http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en , click on the 'updates' tab, and it should tell you if a new version is available, and what the new version actually cures. |

I would also consider re-tuning the freeview channels as well
