Did I miss something, but on tonights show, when Harry danced the first dance, only Len gave a comment (although they all gave a mark)

No you did'nt miss anything, that's how it was.

They were running a couple of minutes behind schedule, so instead of the whole show overrunning they decided to cut out a few comments, starting with Harry.

Cutting out Bruce's jokes would have made more sense, of course...

i thought that was odd too.

But the BBC programme announcer guy has JUST said before Merlin "a little earlier than advertised.........."

Not enough time...they had to make way for all those RUBBISH VT's

I thought it was Brucie's mistake.

At a guess I'd say it was Bruce being doddery - if they were really running short why was he allowed to do yet another one of those excruciating soft shoe shuffles while rolling his hips and letching like the old Uncle nobody invites for Christmas anymore?

My thoughts entirely, I realise shows must run to a schedule, but just seemed so wrong to deviate from the norm so soon.

i know this has nothing to do with the post but it mentioned harry

And they wouldn't drop three comments from one routine and none from the rest; they'd drop one comment each time unless they were really under pressure near the end of the show.
