Jason didnt even deserve to sniff a 10 tonight.

He basically walked around doing not very much, while kristinna blew everyone away. HE should not get 10s because SHE is fabulous. its expected of the pros. If we were to judge on the pros everyone #cough# except Antons partners #cough# (LOL) would be getting 10s from week 1.

So glad Chelsee and pasha got the Frist 40 of the season and overshadowed Jason.

I thought the two ATs were the best dances of the night, but Jason and Kristina's was worth 40 (based on the scoring this series).

Haven't see the point of comparing across different series since the judges went mad with 10s in series 6. Before then a 10 meant something very special.

10 for characterisation and 10 for Kristina but no way a 10 for Jason's dancing...

I was so excited to see both Chelsee and Jason getting tens because it is clear that they have both worked very hard.

I think the whole thing was misjudged, way too aggressive and frantic for an Argentine Tango. if you want to do that sort of thing, put it in a ballroom tango where it belongs.

An AT is meant to be sensual but controlled, danced more for the dancers than for the audience. This was a hot mess and Jason's performance, with the open mouth and the closed eyes and rubbing his face against Kristina's hair was absolutely creeptacular.

I mean, I love Kristina as a dancer, she's fabulous. If you watch back their samba and just look at her instead of Jason, it's awesome. But she didn't look great in this AT. She's writhing about at the start when she should be strong in the core and the bit at 1:02 in this video is memorable for all the wrong reasons:

I agree, although I would put Harry's VW too but it was very understated to be the dance of the night.

Jason's wasnt the most proper AT but he danced very well and worthy of a 40 in relation to the general marking. And I dont even like Jason (as a dancer).

I loved Gilles and Cheryl and that was a great AT (I had forgotten it was to the same music) but I have to say it didnt make my heart pump like Kristina's ....also I do think it helps with the 'look' when the man has the AT look ie. dark hair dark eyes etc. It was one of the things that made Marks AT look so good.

The AT is always my favorite dance of the whole series and that's why I enjoyed last nights too!! Love the intensity and drama!!!

No, Jason and Christina's AT was not worth 40 - Jason did little dancing and a lot of posturing and pulling of faces while Kristina danced round him.
The only AT worth 40 last night was Holly and Artem's.

I loved that AT - probably my favourite AT ever across both shows. Gilles was robbed! Him not winning ruined season 8 for me.

Jason's AT was one of 3 stand-out dances for me last night - his AT, Cheslee's AS and Harry's VW. Chelsee's Paso was spoilt for me by the fan - didn't open out properly and made me nervous watching the performance, in case it caused her to fluff the routine. Not surprised at the 40s after Harry's 39 Charleston, which I did enjoy and thought was well executed, but I didn't seee him smile much, and I thought he would have been penalised as it didn't seem to have the exaggerated facial performance the judges often remark is needed and therefore less "fun" than I had anticipated. Nothing detracting from Harry in that and I think the leaderboard placings overall were right, but just to say why the 40s were no surprise to me....

I am just really really happy that we had such a great semi-final, with so many enjoyable routines and am totally looking forward to the final.

Cheryl's awful showdance lost it for Gilles.

I can't believe how many weren't impressed. Jason and Holly have been my faves for the whole series, and I'm entertained every time Jason dances, and last night's dance was unbelievable. Best dance of the series for me, and the best I've seen since Pamela's Waltz last season.

I hope Jason wins strictly, but there's more chance of an asteroid hitting me on the head.
