No, I totally agree that it's just the way she is. I don't think she's putting up an act. If nothing else she's a very genuine person.

I was just saying that I don't like this immatureness. Maybe the reason I no longer find it endearing is because it has been 3 months of it, and her looking up at Pasha and saying "oh Pash...!". Generally whenever I see someone acting this way I want to tell them snap out of it and act their age. It's not Chelsee specific.

That's the thing, when you see these things, the first reaction is to compare to yourself, and draw up some conclusion based on your experience. So perhaps people who think Chelsee is too child like/childish would react differently to these sort of circumstances.

Incidentally something similar did happen to me. In the school Christmas ball. I was wearing a strap dress (never again!) and during a dance we were frantically jumping up and down. The guy I was dancing with was holding my waist and my dress was pulled down (as he turned out to be gay later on I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose!). In front of my entire class my left boob popped out! I just put it back in, pulled my dress up and made him give me his jacket which I wore for the rest of the night. Definitely did not make the fuss that Chelsee made over her dress.

For weeks people at school were talking about it (even after Christmas) and there were rumours about how I had sex with that guy during the ball... People have great imaginations, or sense of humour.

Anyway, the contestants all have their flaws. Harry's too serious, Jason drones on, and Chelsee is too immature. I don't see why their fans can't accept these flaw and like their celebrity in-spite of them, and why they have to jump in their defence to prove their celeb is perfect.

I also completely agree.... I think her Paso was very good and very entertaining - but it wasn't perfect.

There is something missing from all her dances and I can't quite put my finger on what it is. Her steps are good, her movement good, choreagraphy is good.... but I always feel when I watch her that she's about to fall flat on her face!! I find something awkward in her dancing and being no expert - I can't really understand why.

Harry on the otherhand just seems to ooze class and good dancing - I love watching him - especially since Aliona has had an epiphany and improved the choreagraphy!

These haters need to accept the observations of both Craig and Bruno, who rightly point out that Chelsee is "gifted" in dancing. She moves like a dancer, not like a celebrity wanna-be-dancer.

There again this is exactly what others are saying abut Jason & to a lesser extent Harry. Who apart from the Charleston (a Swing dance IMO) has struggled with Latin since day one.

So Chelsee doesn't have the perfect dancers shape or the right accent or the maturity to instantly cope when things go embarrassingly wrong. She has improved since day one. There is a lot more control of her feet for a start and the love of what she is doing is very clear.

Personally I think Harry and Jason have both been on a journey, in fact all the participants have. H and J's dancing shows passion and both have really been committed to putting in the hours of training - Harry put in 72 hrs last week. Harry in particular I think has been undermarked on occasion.

I am actually fed up with Chelsee's fawning - nice girl but I don't honestly think she is the best dancer of the three. Last year I thought Matt Baker was better than Kara but the judges again showed their favouritism.

I would like either of the boys to win and I hope one of them does. I am really fed up with reality shows hyping a particular participant.

I don't think it's hate and I agree Chelsee is gifted. However, I think Harry is too and Jason has worked long and hard to get to the standard he is.

Last night Chelsee was given most airtime in the interview. Jason is a finalist and wasn't even interviewed. Fair? I think not. Somehow I think it's a foregone conclusion that Chelsee is going to win the show.

Sorry, I have to smile at this. Simply based on the exposure and Alesha & Bruno lust Harry has been favourite with the judges from day one (just not Len). Jason is a close second with more last dances during the main show than anyone else. One sort of feels the maximum score for the Paso and Jason's AT is in compensation for having come so far yet due to the McFly factor having no chance of winning.

The 72 hour part is not right Dan Wootton just estimated it from the day he spent with him. They do 5 days a week and on that week Harry himself on twitter said he only did 4 days on the Sunday. Others have danced as much in rehearsal he's not an exception as the article has made him up to be.

Harry in his ballroom has more or less been scored correctly but every Latin routine has been overmarked 8s would have been generous.

If, according to the OP, Chelsee is not showing any passion for the dance, then Harry must be a really miserable git in comparison.

I don't mind understated, but Chelsee dances to any music whilst Harry is control personified. I wish he'd immerse himself and let his face show more emotion.

Poor old Rachel Stevens and Ricky Whittle were pilloried on here for being "boring". But Harry gets away with it.

I think it's because she's too top heavy and not used to dancing in heels as she's often seen in practice dancing in her socks.

Of the final 3, IMO Harry's the only one who's been on a "journey". Both Chelsee and Jason started on a high and haven't improved consistently as much as Harry.

I'd say Jason is the only one that started of at a higher standard and has finished weaker. The other two have improved from the beginning (Harry marginally in Latin)

Taken as an average, the final 3 are pretty consistent. Average position on the leader board for Harry is 2.36; Chelsea 2.45 and Jason 2.81 although Jason has topped the leader board 4 times to Harry and Chelsea's 3 each. The only time/ person outside of the final 3 to have been top of the board is Wembly week and Alex.

Really, mark and leaderboard wise throughout the entire series the top 3 are pretty much of a muchness.

Harry's was joint second for their very first dance! So, I disagree that Harry didn't start on a high. He's been a great dancer from the beginning. He's also has been scored pretty consistently around about the same mark, so I'm not seeing the journey story for him either.

I think the most improved goes to Anita, Holly and Alex, who have seen a steady rise in their scores. I can see the journey for each of them, i can't really see it for any of the final three.

If the love of what she's doing is very clear, it's always been very clear. There's no significant "journey" there.

Nor is there in the quality of her dancing. I think her quickstep from so long ago I've forgotten when is still one of her best.

If Chelsee's improved, it hasn't been by all that much; and the remaining problems in her are not only that she doesn't have the perfect shape, or the maturity to instantly cope. For instance, I think there are moments she struggles to keep up, or struggles with the execution (such as when dragged in her Paso), or even seems to have missed out part of the dance and filled it in with something else.

But I don't think any of the final three have changed enough for it to be a journey. If someone who hadn't watched the series was shown their dances in a random order (without any clue as to which week they were from), I think they might find it difficult to work out which dance was from which week.

Agreed. i also think all three finalists have all improved technically.

Next week we will see whether Jason can sustain a high standard through 4 dances, whether Harry will emote and manage to put some hip into latin and enthusiasm into up tempo routines whether Chelsee will act the dance and keep control. They all have some things to work on - as do we all.

Errm Chelsee was given 40 by way of creative scoring by the judges to ensure their 3 favourites got through to the final.

So to make a case for Chelsee, you attack the forum members who don't rate her highly and insult other contestants as "celebrity wanna-be-dancer"s.

And if we're going to go down the "jealousy" route, there's another way to play that game. Like this: a lot of Chelsee's popularity is because she isn't very good looking. Her non-threatening looks and non-threatening immaturity are the key; her ability as a dancer just provides a convenient rationalisation.

Re the rest of the rhetoric in that post, it's "need to accept" and "observations" and "rightly point out" because you agree.

But people don't have to agree with judges' claims that she's "gifted", just as they don't have to agree with the claims that her dancing is "incredible".

Probably same with Chelsee if you compared her Waltz to American Smooth. Jason I don't think you could.

I agree Harry's improvement in his ballroom posture/top-line was significant. Only casual viewers and those who simply vote for Harry because he's fit (or they are loyal Mcfly fans) can't see the improvement.

Based on that, I think Chelsee has improved significantly as well. In the beginning, she's quite throw-away with her movements (see her waltz in week one) and they when you compared with her Quickstep, she was much more controlled, and even more so when you see her attempting that AMAZING AS in the semi. People who can't see that improvement in Chelsee either didn't have a single clue about dancing or simply didn't like her as a celeb.

Even Jason has improved somewhat in his ballroom technique. He looked unnatural and stiff in the foxtrot week and in the Quickstep, his posture was so improved Kristina even let him do the ballroom hold ALONE in the beginning. How cool is that?

But in any case, you're doing something different from what I was talking about. You've picked two dances you think makes it clear there's been improvement. I was talking about scrambling the order of all of his dances and whether someone who hadn't watched would find it difficult to put them in the right order.
