1. The music choices this week were sublime, and wardrobe got the costumes right, too. For once.

2.Real training VT's? Oops! Spoke too soon! (though those for the second dances were old-times-good..)

3. I am not a Chelsee fan, but there were some steps in that American Smooth that had me melting.

4. I agreed with every single thing Craig said tonight, and every single mark he gave.

5.James just had to mention "tears", didn't he? I think it might be called a last-ditch play for sympathy. Bleh.

1. Bruce was on worse form than usual tonight. I'm sure that if all his jokes were cut, and he stopped wasting time pointing out the standing ovations, then they wouldn't have had to cut the judge's comments after Harry's Charleston.

2. I say this as a big fan of Chelsee... but I thought her Paso was overmarked. Technically it was spot on, but personally I thought it missed some of the fire that Holly showed last week.

3. And as not the biggest fan of Jason, it was a surprise to find myself agreeing with the judges that it deserved full marks.

4. I genuinely loved Alex's Salsa. She completely threw herself into it (literally at times), and if that was her last dance then she can be really proud. If I was voting on who I've enjoyed watching most throughout the series (I'm not) then she'd be still there next week.

5. Will be surprised if Holly gets through. She really needed to wow this week, and while she was good, the other 'Gladiators' were just better.

1. Artem in unusually upbeat mood. I think he knows he may well be going home.

2. Still waiting for Jason to start dancing in the AT. All I remember are those Morris dancing side-flicky things.

3. Chelsea'a AS was divine in places.

4. Surprised not to see more of the pros in tonight for the Semi-Final. Felt a bit bare back in the TessPit.

1. Very emotional show tonight, especially Kristina, she looked positively insane during the samba!

2. Chelsee's American Smooth was so lovely it made me cry .. I couldn't enjoy her Paso as much as I should have, because the blinking fan distracted me - it meant she had one less hand free to make shapes with, I would have ditched it early in the routine.

3. I was waiting for the tens to come out for Holly's AT, where were they after all the 100% positive comments?! It was my favourite routine of the night, I so loved the 'footography' on the chair. (Dirty! ) Poor girl ran out of steam for the Charlston though; shame, cos I loved the concept.

4. Alex's ballroom dress! She has a divine figure, she really does.

5. I do love old Jase but his pre-Tango getting-into-character face was just scary!

1. Chelsee's paso was FAB.

2. Great technique from Jason but you could see the strings in his acting. He was trying so hard to be aggressive but it just didn't ring true for me.

3. Alex was not in the same league as the others tonight, although hats off to her for really going for it.

4. Fantastic choreography from Artem, as ever - he knows how to play to Holly's strengths.

5. Harry - beautifully danced as ever. And I would take the shy, understated but sexy way he looks at Aliona over Jason's hysterical gurning any time.

1. I thought Harry deserved a 40 for his VW over any of the others that did get full marks.

2. Of the AT's I thought Jason's was better, but don't think he did much in it and it was mostly Kristina.

4. Think Alex and Holly are the two who will go out.

5. Even when not dancing, Flavia STILL stands out in a crowd....She looked very Audrey Hepburn tonight.

1 - The VTs are insultingly bad.
2 - Thought Harry danced the best on the night but his personality suits serious dances, such as Waltzes and Tangos, and he fails to sell the more fun dances.
3 - Liked Chelsee's AS but her Paso was tottery, lacked passion and she looked like she lost it in a few places. One of her worst dances and she gets a 40???
4 - The judges' marking bore no relation to what was happening on the dancefloor. It was blatantly pre-ordained. Reminded me of the Lisa Snowdon year when nobody could understand why they were giving her such high marks.
5 - Had a look on Youtube at some of the earlier series. The good dancers of this year aren't a patch on the good dancers of previous years. I feel indifferent as to who wins.

A lot of people seem to share this opinion. I thought her AT was stunning. I also thought, as did others, that Chelsee's American Smooth was better than her Paso....

1. The extension of the fan couldn't disguise Chelsee's 10-inch arms. Nice try though.
2. Shame Artem's fab Charleston choreography was under-rehearsed. (I'm not blaming Holly, as I don't know why and who decided the music should be changed mid-week).
3. Harry's routines lived up to the training footage, but would have liked more quirk in his Charleston.
4. Spellbound by Jason and Kristina's AT performance.
5. Loved Aliona's VW dress.
