1. Two great dances; but Ian warned Harry and Aliona on Wednesday about the head line - WHY WASN'T IT SORTED?

2. Chelsee's Paso for me didn't have the scintilating, mesmerizing factor of a 40 dance.

3. Did Holly and Artem just resign from the contest - what on Earth was that for a Charleston?

4. Jason deserved a 40 for his moves out of frame in the Argentine Tango; but it lost something in frame IMO.

5. Alex tried her best, but maybe she's out of her depth now.

1. the two argentine tango's were the best dances of the night.
2. Harry's charleston so overmarked he couldn't even muster a smile!! So boring facial wise he is the male Rachel Stevens for me cracking dancer but as dull as dish water!
3. Loved the concept of Artem's charleston absolute genius even if it wasn't danced well.
4. Chelsee Smooth was better than the Paso how that got a perfect score no idea?
5. Alex Salsa was so bad!!

1. Thought Holly's AT (in the current marking system but not in actuality if you know what I mean!) deserved 4 10s - it was stunning.

2. Loved Jason's AT as well.

3. Loved Alex's waltz dress but not her dancing in general

4. Holly wasn't in the Charleston at all (hate the Charleston anyway!)

5. Love Chelsee but thought that paso was poor in most of the transitions and in this dance only she reminded me of Letitia Dean.

1. Loved Harry's VW and thought it should have had 4 10s

2. Thought Harry's Charleston was WAY overmarked because he did well with everything EXCEPT THE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS!

5. Holly's AT outfit stunning, her Charleston one a disaster

Feast and famine, for me, with Holly and Harry!

1. chelsee's AS was better than her Paso.
2. Holly's AT was undermarked and deserved 10s. very dissapointed with the judges
3. Kristina looked hot and the AT with jason deserved 37-39 not a 40.
4. Alesha standing up and getting vocal - im not cringing anymore at her comments
5. Craigs 10s which should have come in the final me thinks. i hope harry gets a 40 if he gets to the final - so much better than jason.

my final 3 prediction would be Chelsee, Harry, Jason. I would love if Holly went through so i can see her and Artem's showdance. Massive shock tomorrow if alex is through to final.

1. Loved both Chelsee's dances tonight, definitely was ashame about the AT, but I only saw 1 mistake, so didn't get Craig's scoring

2. Thought Harry's Charleston was OK but lacked facial expressions, so was surprised by the score, but VW was nice.

3. When do pro dancers get to decide what dance their celebrity partner shouldn't do? Because I really think Artem should have picked the Charleston for Holly. It almost took away from the great stuff she did with the Paso and the AT; to me Holly excels in slow/intense dances.

4. Liked Jason's AT, but kind of question the mark in the sense that Kristina being the pro and female, meant that she did most of the work, and basically made the dance look great, while Jason was just there at the right time

5. Like Alex, but no, can't see her being in the competition next week

Sorry, extras:

The judges should really think about their marking more carefully next series. When you give out lots of high marks, particularly early in the competition, there really is nowhere to go when people start to improve/do really great dances.

Bruce really should stop talking about the standing ovations: Bruce, the more you draw attention to it, the more we see that they do it for virtually every dance

Loved FF VT, think Harry's character was quite near to how Harry himself is, liked Chelsee's accent

Lastly, once again, I talk a lot

1. If Jason gets through will it be the first time someone has got to the final without using a proper dance step? I'm sorry, but all he does is run around a lot. I was however anticipating a nice 'wardrobe malfunction'. Kristina nearly lost her puppies a couple of times.

2. Oh Holly, Holly, Holly. Stunning at first, but then....... Never mind love.

3. There was quite a disparity in quality between the celebs. Alex looked like she had wandered in on her first day.

4. Tess has obviously got herself an evening job on the streets.

5. I've stated from the beginning that I wanted Holly to father my children and I have repeatedly said that Chelsee will win, BUT I have to admit Harry is looking worryingly good. Him not getting full marks whilst Jason did is a travesty.


A delicious aside from my wife this evening. She very, very rarely swears, but whilst watching one of the judges sections she just looked at me and said 'Is Aleisha pi**ed again?

1) Appreciated Jason for the first time this series - the AT requires acting to make a full performance, not just dancing
2)Chelsee's Paso - too light on the flamenco (Holly did that section a lot better) - overmarked and over-rated IMO
3)Did Bruce have a different scriptwriter this week - more laboured than usual and not funny
4)Holly's Charleston - suicide by Artem. After the AT I thought she had a chance, and then..........she'll have to hope the GBP step in now and save her..........
5)IMO it's a close call - apart from the two ATs I probably won't remember any of these dances in a week's time!

1. Bruce had a senior moment after the first dance that resulted in the show finishing early (he forgot to ask the other judges for comments). He also missed out Alesha on at least one occasion. She dealt with this by speaking first before he asked anyone. It might have been her turn anyway but she wasn't taking any chances with the old duffer.

2. Confidence and commitment are so important from the celeb dancers - lack of either gets in the way of the celeb realising his/her potential.

3. Bruce needs to stop mimicking Chelsee's Mancunian accent every time she speaks. It's so patronising. It would also be good if he could stop milking the standing ovations.

4. It seemed to be over so quickly so it must have been good!

5. Craig is the only judge who pushes the dancers to reach further.

1.I hated Jason and the AT,40 my arse(well nothing was worth 40 last night but I feel less murderous about Chelsee-note exaggeration for effect am not about to go bonkers with an axe)
2.Adored Harrys VW-hey Aliona is good when she plays it straight down the line
3.marking was crazy,everything with the possible exception of the VW was overmarked
4.Alex and Holly looked out of their depth and I still want Chelsee to win.
5. Artem looked hot in his AT suit and I don't normally find him that attractive (brilliant dancer)

Well, I thought it was a great show! Doing a rewatch right now : )

1) Harry is such a beautiful dancer, and his VW was perfect except the performance aspect was missing a bit.

2) I guess Jason's AT was marmite, but I personally loved it. Scared the animals by yelling at the TV : )

3) I started loving Holly after that foxtrot she did, but tonight she was just tired, I think. Still that was an interesting AT, very understated. I did notice that she wasn't looking at the floor very much!

4) Chelsee really danced beautifully tonight, I also liked her AS better. I think her foot just got stuck to the floor and she couldn't slide.

5) Craig was spot on with Alex, she threw herself into it, but she just isn't at the standard of the others.

1-Chelsee's 40. JUST WOW. Im so incredubly proud of this girl. I feel tears prickling when I think about how far she's come. Not only as a dancer, but as a person. Never in my dreams did I think I'd end up with so much love for her.

2-Holly. SUPERB AT. Should have been scored higher. I would love Holly to reach the finals. Lovely girl with bags of talent

3- Jasons ridiculous over marking. Dont get me wrong, it was a great dance. I just felt he stood there and did nothing. I'm also not enjoying Jason's ego and his self compliments. Charry and Harry are more humble which is endearing.

4- Tess's outfit. Great outfit, but thought she was about to spill out at times.

5- I like Bruce.

Thoroughly enjoyed the show as well

1. Chelsee's American Smooth blew me away. Such a moving performance. Wasn't as mad about the Paso because there were fleeting moments of uncertainty which broke the spell.

2. I don't think Jason was given enough credit last week, so I don't begrudge him more points than he probably deserved for the Argentine Tango. Kristina was breathtaking, the position she achieved in that final lift was crazy! I've loved her this series.

3. Holly did her Argentine Tango justice. But she seemed to give up when it came to the Charleston. I think Artem took his experimentation a step too far. The 9's were very generous.

4. Both of Harry's dances looked great from the neck down. But he was pulling this strange goldfish face during his Charleston and his face looked a bit vacant again during the Viennese Waltz.

5. I grew quite fond of Alex, and she performed a respectable enough Salsa in the end (it wasn't much worse than Holly's Charleston or Jason's Samba). James, though, behaved very badly all night. Whether he stays or goes, he'll not be able to redeem himself in many people's eyes.

1. If Chelsee didn't have those huge fake boobs she would be an even better dancer than she is now, as they definitely unbalance her core.

2. Thank gawd for proper music selections overall (apart from Alex's "Natural Woman", to me that song is a Rhumba).

3.Tess was back to looking and sounding common last night.

4. The costume dept. did poor Holly no favours last night. She looked uncomfortable in both outfits, and neither flattered her shape. They were designed more for a Cara type figure.

5. Harry & Aliona's beautiful VW was marred by the incessant shouting over the soulful music, ruining the reflective atmosphere they were creating. Why does the audience do it? Shut up - it's not a Samba - and cheer at the final pose!

1. Harry's VW was for me by a long way the best dance of the series. So so beautiful. I love that they managed to capture the slight hesitation and melancholy in the song. Can you imagine if Harry had been grinning like a Cheshire cat whilst dancing to a song about being terrified of falling in love because you have been hurt so badly in the past? heaven forbid the dancer actually interpret the mood of the song Listen to the words of the song and tell me Harry and Aliona didn't capture it perfectly

2. by contrast Jason's AT was one of the most uncomfortable viewing experiences I've ever had on Strictly. Was there any need for Jason to sniff Kristina *shudder* cringed from beginning to end.

3. Chelsee was brilliant but neither of her dances were her best but you would have to be hard hearted to begrudge her the 40 especially in light of Jason's.

4. Loved Holly and Artem this week.

5. lastly and perhaps most importantly Chelsee's Paso dress was hideous.

I gave up three years ago but I came back this year and overall have enjoyed this series. Maybe you just need a break from it

I think if you are a long term viewer then it's bound to happen at some time. It was Chris Hollins that did it for me. I stopped caring that year. Now I just watch without much interest.

1 Harry still needs to project himself more - there is more to dancing than perfect footwork.
2. Chelsee is a gem
3 Ludicrous marking particularly the opening Charleston
4 Now that was an AT!!
5 No point voting in the final - forgone conclusion
