If you are talking about the AT alone, it's impossible to argue..Flavia and Vincent are probably among the greatest exponents of that dance in the world.
But by most standards, Kristina was still superb tonight.

Is it just possible that Jason gained 40 for his second dance as his first was so weak he was in danger of not making the final?
Kristina was amazing Jason good but the judges are marking the celeb?

I think Chelsee deserved 35/36 for her Paso (several mistakes and hesitations uncommented on), Jason a 38/39 for his AT and Harry39/40 for his VW. The first round of marks for AS,Charleston and Samba, I thought were spot on.

I agree - I felt that the 40s for Chelsee and Jason were only given to try to close the gap on the leaderboard in order to create better TV. I thought Chelsee was (and has been consistently) overmarked once again. I wish she would pull her bottom in and stop pulling those awful faces when she dances.

The main hesitation at the end came from her dress being caught and the judges have never marked down due to dresses being caught.

Harry was told by Ian in the week that his head placement was completely wrong and Craig agreed. Aliona refused to change it and to give it a perfect score would been wrong.

Overmarking began from the first dance giving a rather mediocre Charleston 39, it gave the judges yet again nowhere to go. The positions on the leaderboard were more or less correct though.

So happy am not the only one who thought this, was warting to wonder if i was watching a different dance to everyone else. Jason didn't hardly do anything, just held arms out for Kristina while she dance (what she dance was very good but the about the celeb). If it was anyone else dancing bet judges would of notice this. As for it having passion etc, i just thought Jason was going over the top, faces he was pulling were scary and weird, not passionate. Personally i enjoyed Holly AT more, better content and she actually was dancing for most of it.

Did think Chelsee deserve a 40 but if anyone else deserved a 40 would been Harry, definitely for his VW but Craig didn't because his head should been slightly more to the left and gave one to Jason who didn't even do much actual dancing, doesn't make sense to me

I'm starting to get pissed with the Judges regarding the A.Tango. They said even with Harry's earlier in the series all a man needs to do is stand there and occasionally lift her. It's not always a woman's dance as men can actually dance with men in this dance. It just essentially screams 'oh we'll give you an easy ride'

Jason's was great but over marked. He didnt do much really. A clever ploy by the judges in order to keep him in. Which is a shame really as I'd have Holly in the final to "Mr ego Im so great I feel like a local hero" Jason anyday.

Still, Chelsee has made it to the finals, I couldn't be more proud or happy for her. I never would have predicted this for her 10 weeks ago.

That really would not make much sense, if the judges wanted to manipulate the vote for Jason then they would simply not have placed him joint last after his first routineAfter all he danced last so they knew his position would put him in danger, and they had no gauarantee that he would pull out such a fantastic AT. I know they would have seen it during dress rehersal.....but then Jason could still have gone wrong. I did think he was slightly undermarked on his Samba...........at least a couple of points as it was very respectable indeed.

I personally liked Holly's argentine tango just as much if not more than Jason's, and thought she deserved a couple of 10s at least based on the amount of 10s that were handed out last night!

Agree with everything you said. Kristina's choreography & dancing terrific, I hardly noticed Jason.

He gave a rubbish reason for that....I felt Craig just wanted to spoil the party for Harry ..that dance deserved full marks.

I agree, he is my favourite. I am pretty certain he hasn't got enough support to win but I think that is a real shame.

He's my favourite too. I won't be heart broken to see Harry win in due course though (which is my prediction), but don't let the horrible Jason-bashing on this forum trick you into thinking he doesn't have much support. Outside of this forum, I think he's pretty popular.

And back to the topic of this thread, well I'm sure all the Jason-haters will be spitting feathers at him getting 40, but when I watched that dance, it really did blow me away. I had felt Chelsee deserved her 40 (in comparison to the other dances last night), but when Jason did that AT, I really did feel he deserved 40 even more than Chelsee.

On the contrary - both Kara and Matt deserved 40's several times last season and never got them.
They were both better dancers than anyone this series.

Giving 40 for something that is not technically and artistically top class diminishes the whole show in my opinion

I'm watching the show now and I honestly think that Chelsee's paso is the worst dance of last night's show so far - I haven't yet seen Jason's AT or Holly's Charleston. The fan completely got in the way of everything, her body is just too short and stubby to form good lines (I sympathise, mine is the same), she stumbled at least once, she reached out for Pasha too early a few times and had to wait for him to greet her, and throughout the whole dance I thought she was awkward and just thinking far too much. I'm really disappointed - I thought her AS was absolutely stunning, I've loved almost every dance she's done since after the quickstep. This was my least favourite. This was the one where I was distracted by her performance, rather than engrossed by it.

Hmmm. Now I've seen Jason's. I thought it was better overall than Chelsee's - the atmosphere, the acting, everything worked perfectly. Kristina did a spectacular job. I wouldn't have given it a 40 though, he didn't do enough to earn it.

Jason did hardly anything, didn't deserve the 40, Chelsee was fab.

I really doubt I would have anything unappreciative enough to say, and I am smiling about it atm in more of an ironic semi snigger sort of way.
Some threads and topics are just not relevant to me apart from having a nose just out of curiosity sake, each to their own I guess.
