James just makes me laugh. i really don't think he is trying to offend anyone. It's just his sense of humour !!! I think maybe he was thinking he might be going. Artem also made me laugh when he was cleaning his lensless glasses.

Brendan was the SCD bad boy, mouthing off, acting up, but a cuople of years ago he got married, and IMO has really mellowed. He is still as passionate for the dance, but had no need to get prickly and argumentative at a drop of a hat. He whas been great this year as 'rent a pro' and obviously loved joining in with the whole 'joke' of it. He is happy in himself, and it shows.

What does that James...

Putting his irritating buffoonery aside, what really bugged me was the way James said Craig didn't like him (or Alex) because he gave them 7's. What the hell was James expecting for that Salsa? And what about all the 10s Craig gave him last year?

In the early years of Strictly James acquired a reputation for being impatient with celebs who did not bother to try. In John Sergeant's year his comment upon elimination of Cherie, then his appearance on ITT, was deemed central to the biggest bust-up in Strictly history.

However James is patently not spiteful nor a person who bears a grudge. His celeb alumnae like him, not forgetting the kind and witty Ola, the lovable modest Alex. Looking at these good references at a distance I find it impossible not to like James. It's just that he is an eccentric uncle, outspoken on any issue for or against, and nobody can muzzle James. You know where you are with James.

If his dropping from the tour signals an au revoir from Strictly as management rotate newer and younger faces, I shall value the years when one man was fearlessly straight, sometimes right, sometimes wrong.

what utter rot Jason did not deserve 10's for that and he was hamming it to get more public sympathy. They should have Just handed him the glitter ball in week 1 he was going to be the winner he has showed little or no improvement he makes errors and still is highly marked. He crawls in the most sickening way. For James who had to work very hard with Alex it must be soul destroying to see someone be tick boxed through with the judges fawning on him. I can see totally why principally James and Brendan are annoyed and why they are playing up. The compition hasn't been as fair as it should have been and that I'm afraid lands in the Lap of the producers and the head judge.
wow, take a chill pill and by the way, he most certainly does not crawl in a sickening or any way at all. It's called having good manners (Mr. Jordan take note) and taking things on board in order to improve!

I'm so relieved someone has started a thread about this odious man, as I've wanted to for weeks, but felt it was too negative.

However, if he is not replaced for next season, then I fear his fellow pros will do something drastic! As they clearly can't stand him either!

My idea of hell on earth would be to have James Jordan as my Strictly Pro - he is just a nightmare to work with. From his first year when he made the Casualty actress cry, to his incessant camera hogging, LOUD GOB, ungracious attitude - whether it's his inability to accept Artem winning the pro challenge to gatecrashing Jason & Kristina's moment last night - he is crass, childish, boorish, rude, obnoxious, uncharitable, and top of all that.....A BORING choreographer and average dancer! Get rid, and if Ola can't hack it without him, she can go too!

Just rewatching and saw that bit. Wow. I agree with those who said what about all the 10s he got last year?

Big-headed, arrogant, self-absorbed, attention seeking, rude, can't take criticism.

Please replace him for next season! What Ola sees in him I will never know!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who dislikes him - if you'd left a few adjectives, I could have contributed

Horrible man.

Just think that some of the professional dancers need to shut up. They're not on the programme for their opinions. James needs to shut up or he needs to go, just irritating. Exactly the same for Brendan.

He does seem to want to hog the limelight whenever he's on with all the others. He was very annoying when he was on ITT with Artem the other night.
I used to think Brendan Cole was arrogant but I've changed my mind about him, I now think James Jordan has taken his place, tiresome twit !.
I think you may have used the wrong vowel in the BIB word.

Yes - what on earth is going on with those two? Are they on something? It's a bit OTT. I noticed Aliona had to 'restrain' JJ a couple of times. Not very professional is it - trying to take someone else's limelight.

I don't think there was any malice in it - James is just an idiot with an inflated idea of his own popularity.

He showed himself up not Jason

Didn't see the show last night, but just watched Jason's AT on YouTube (loved it). Think the bit on the Tessanine may have been edited down, as all I can see is James's mock tears - no sign of Aliona and Alex remonstrating with or Ola's black looks that others have mentioned. However you can see James applauding wildly at the 10s with what looks like genuine delight for J and K.

Yes, that annoyed me more than the "buffoonery". He didn't say it only once, he said it quietly and then repeated it at least one more time in case it did not get enough attention the first time.

Some will go to his defence saying the show needs a "bad boy". I've often wondered why such a person is needed on Strictly for me it's a Saturday night entertainment show for the whole family, which dancers and non-dancers can all enjoy together. Guess some people need more attention than others

No matter what the show needs or how it may be 'managed' - James is simply just an arse hole. At one time or another, we've all know people who fit that description, and he's one.

Opps, I meant to say he's not a nice person. Hope saying he's an arse hole doesn't get me into trouble.

Sorry.

James may think he's being funny but he's much too full of himself for me. His remark about Craig was a bit pathetic. Ola's lovely - how does she put up with him?

I don't reckon he will be in it next year, which means that Ola won't be either. She has done nothing to deserve that. His gurning behind Jason last night was totally unnecessary and really rude.

The only good thing about James is Ola.

Shame really because some of the presenting work he did for ITT the year he partnered Cherie was very good.....if a bit inarticulate at times 'she done well' etc. From the Alesha school of public speaking. Some of his choreography is cringey too.....air guitars out of the classiest woman to ever appear on SCD legs anyone?

Drove me mad when he came out with 'it's about the dancing' swipe at John Sergeant and yet the year his wife is in the final it's about the 'entertainment'.

His petulance re. Craig, who's scoring and feedback is the only one with any credibility left, is probably going to be James's yobbish mouth talking him and Ola out of a job!

Then all they'll be left with is Ola doing calendars with everything hanging out and private dance lessons on Cunard cruise ships and Warner hotels.

What a shame and all because of James over inflated ego and ability to keep his mouth shut. And his tattoos look gross.
