She may be the under dog in the dancing stakes, but I wouldn't mind her going through to the final.
Her waltz was good, and I felt quite moved by it. Her salsa was ok when she was in hold, out of hold she was weak. She performed the salsa with gusto and sold it.
But then, I compare her salsa it to Holly's charleston and Alex salsa wins for me. Holly could barely move her legs and looked like she was going to collapse. I'd also take Alex's salsa over Jason's (I think that's what he performed).
To be honest, there is not a huge amount of difference in dancing skill between Jason and Alex, and to a point, Holly, in terms of performance. Holly is more accurate and polished and definitely the better dancer of the three, but she can't perform for anything. Jason is lumpy and awkward (and highly overrated) and Alex's lines are often far better than Jason's. Their actual skill levels, when you break it down, is similar. It's really Harry and Chelsea that are miles ahead of the rest. With this in mind I wouldn't mind Alex going through at all.
