I'm sorry but Harry is just a posh ex public school boy with a dull personality. He has it in the bag, and he knows this. I think its very unfair of you to be so harsh on Chelsee just because she may not have had as much of a priveleged upbringing as Harry. She has done remarkable well considering her background and is a very talented dancer.
PS and she is probably much more attractive than you

Not quite sure why we are discussing a celeb's background at all. That has nothing to do with their ability to dance.

One thing I've learned over the years (thanks mainly to having a parent who's a gambling addict) is that the bookies very rarely get it wrong. If they make someone an odds-on favourite, you can bet yer bottom dollar (if you have one left after they've finished with you) that they know what they're talking about.

The odds according to Ladbrokes as of this moment?

Harry Judd 2/7 favourite to win, with Chelsee a distant 3/1 second favourite. If you know your betting odds, that's pretty much a foregone conclusion with bells on.

I haven't checked William Hill or Paddy Power, but there's not really much point. They all sing from the same hymn sheet. They're not in the business of losing money...

So, well done Harry, I guess. Personally I was tempted to have a flutter on Chelsee a few weeks ago, (odds were slightly tighter then) but betting against the experts doesn't often pay off. I suppose the McFly fanbase must be huge - much bigger than I expected, anyway.
Well they messed up with Chris Hollins, didn't they? Still had Ricky as the favourite during the week of the final, even though a lot of us had realised Chris would win weeks ago and taken advantage of the odds. I won about 500 quid that year.

If you had actually read this thread It was "don roberto" (a Harry supporter) that bought it up in the 1st place. Why attack Smartgirls post?

and YES you're right. Chelsee shouldn't be hated on for not growing up with the same priveleges. It has absolutely nothing to do with their dancing!!

WHILE filming intensively for Waterloo Road. Well said Ignazio. I really think that some of the abusive comments on here about Chelsee have gone too far. Her dancing is amazing and that is all I care about!
Way too Far.

If you look back don roberto made a comment regarding Chelsee being thick, and her accent. I am simply making the point that just because she didnt have as much of a priveliged upbringing as Harry it shouldnt make her less of a worthy winner.

For the love of god, if we're going to shake the privileged stick to death around here, can we get the spelling right, just for the pedantic old biddies amongst us? Please. Thank you.

Privileged. Privilege. Privileges.

Well said!
Any chance of addressing the use of capital letters and full stops also?

Nope, placed my bet on Harry a few weeks ago, although Holly is my favourite.

The bookies have been wrong many times this year with RTV shows ...e.g. IAC they had Mark to win - CBB - The twins and BB Alex

That isn't what Smartgirl implied. I'd read the thread and check out the facts first..

Don Roberto shot Chelsee down earlier in this thread by saying she isn't a worthy winner for not being articulate and educated enough.

Smartgirl merely and correctly retaliated by saying that its besides the point, as it doesnt matter whether you are under or over privileged.

Again, please check out the full facts 1st.

If we are being pedantic, it should be pointed out that criticising people's spelling is a breach of the T&Cs of this site as it is not constructive.

Adding the fact that English wont be everybody's first language!

I don't find her attractive in appearance and I honestly find her "dim witted" persona offputting not to mention her trully aweful accent. Clearly she is not stupid so I wonder whether she puts on a front (why?). I've never watched Waterloo Road so I don't know how big a part she has in it but lets face it it's not Shakespeare.
!
However, can she spell ....

I've never known this forum to predict one dancer to win, while overwhelmingly (and consistently) supporting another to do so!

If all the people who have thought, said, or written on this forum: "I'm sure Harry will win, but I really hope that Chelsee does..." would just pick up the phone next Saturday and vote for Chelsee and Pasha, then I'd agree with the OP that she has it in the bag.*

Oh, and it's not just the forum. Everybody out there needs to do the same thing! If people believe Harry will walk it, then they won't bother picking up the phone and wasting their money.

When I lived in London, my hairdresser and her colleagues were extraordinarily accurate about who was going to win the reality shows, accurately predicting the winners of Strictly, BB, X Factor et al - time after time. I've moved to Somerset this year, so I tried the same question on my new hairdresser, who said, 'Oh, I think Harry will win, but I really like Chelsee.' Nuff said.

*I am, of course, assuming that both Harry and Chelsee are through to the final.

Harry is as dull as ditchwater and his partner is not liked. The mcfly fans arent that big in number. His teammate won the other show because there was bugger all left to vote for. I think this year the DS poll is very accurate.

You never know. It can go either way.

Re Mcfly, I was about to mention that. Their last two albums have flopped. Infact their last album was a complete disaster and performed poorly.

The fact that two of them are appearing on a reality show says it all. No offence.

They were HUGE in their 2006 era heyday though.

She's dyslexic!

Shall we just stick to dancing...The personal abuse towards Chelsee is going too far.

So she's a great dancer, is popular and is marked well..So is Harry..Big deal.

If there is a runaway leader at the moment then it's got to be Harry. He's pretty inoffensive (dull to me, but whatever), good looking and can dance well. His looks give him a lot of the older female votes ('oooh isn't he gorgeous') and the McFly angle will get him a lot of younger support as well.

It seems to me that Aliona has learnt from last year in that you need to be strong at the end of the series, not the start. She appears to have timed it just right and In the last couple of weeks, she and Harry have put on some very strong performances.

To be honest, I think the winner has already been determined as most viewers will have their favourites by now and little will change their minds (not even if one of them fell over). There will be a few floating voters, but I think they will only have an effect if the vote is close and I don't think it is.

It would be nice to be proved wrong of course...

I did read the thread first and Smartgirl's post was implieing that being priveleged is a bad thing ..

...and I think it's Chelsee who is pulling in the votes; she has had a journey; the coupling is very popular; there are questions over a romance; she consistently puts in good performances and she's a shock for many people.
Disagree, I think that people will be voting for Harry because of the McFly fanbase, Chelsee getting a 40 score last night (fully deserved, imho, based on the paso scoring this series as she was better then Holly) and the fact that Harry is a much more acceptable winner (class struggle is major issue with the Brits).

You could say that this is a copy of the series 5 final, but I think that Alesha was bit more articulate (apart from her ´were´ and ´was´).

As a foreigner I do find it funny that such an argument can be used for picking a winner.
